not sure what is the reason why this property has such high rating. nothing good to highlight a part from the proximity to Le Morne and Flic en Flac. La Gaulette has not much to offer a part from 3 / 4 restaurants that shut down at 10pm

1. cleaning: bugs and insects everywhere with multiple geckos in the ceiling. no mattress cover which is really not hygienic. no shower gel provided, just a bit of soap for the hands. dirtiness everywhere (ie on the disgusting black sofa and on the tea table). you can’t eat anything that small insects will come after few seconds. Cleaning was done just on the 3rd day but very badly. 2. security: main gate very easy to open. anyone could open it by just sliding it 3. comfort: mattress is small for 2 and is like a stone. Same for pillows. it’s like sleeping on the floor. we both had back pain for the entire stay and were looking forward to moving out

Cleanliness, the pool, the big living, big dressing and comfortable bed. The rooms were good looking. The host was very helpful and willing to help us out also he recommended places. It's a good place to leave if you want to swim at Le Morne if you have a car. There is plenty parking place! I would definitely return.

Ben our host is very very friendly. He helped us with any question. The boattour whating whales, dolfines, snorkeling was super. On our way back we went turned round again as they heart there were another whales there. So an extra hour the boat with the earning we saw extra whales.

The apartment is huge and have everything you need. Very beautiful better than photos. convenient location. Definitely will come back there.

Great service and lovely hosts who help out with everything. A lot of space and you've got everything you need. Great starting point for trips!

Spacious and clean rooms, well equipped kitchen, place for parking (you need a car to stay there). compare to other places there was always hot water in the shower, which in June which is much needed in June 😁 The Manager, Ben is amazing! he is very helpful and kind, he helped to organize kite surfing lessons and gave a lot of useful info on hiking etc

Lovely family, very nice, clean and well located apartment. 1 km from a supermarket and restaurants. you are near a lot of places to visit in the south of the island. For sure to come back!

We had a very relaxed and lovey stay at Bingo Premium with very lovely and easy-going hosts. Check-in, payment and Check-out were handled all very easily and on a basis of trust at the end of our stay. I enjoyed one or two very interesting conversations with Ben. I find it always great when talks exceed the usual small talk. He also gives great advice on hiking tours. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean, comfy, spacious and well-equipped. The homepage pictures tell it all as it is. Nothing more to add. Except the view in the evening at Le Morne Brabant is stunning! See you next time.

Spacious clean apartment which is fully equipped to self cater. Owners super friendly in helping out sorting trips and hiking up le morne! Need a car to get around but this seems fairly normal in Mauritius. Oh and there’s Netflix for rainy/cyclone days!

Apartment was modern, nice and clean(everyday cleaned) Nice, clean swimming pool and terace. Great place for plan trips - dolphins, Le Morne mountain, Casela, Chamarel. Le Morne beach 5 min on scooter. Supermarket 2min :-) Owner was very kind and helpful. Also help us to rent a scooter in same day!!

I have no ideas for cons in this apartment. Only in this location you truly need rent a scooter or car. But its not con, its recommend.

Great roomy apartment with large balcony, comfortable bed and excellent kitchen facilities. Ben was a great host, very friendly and a great source of information for our travels.

The air conditioner did not work but the ceiling fans were excellent and better than A/C anyway. The TV was stuck on one channel and would not respond to any channel changer buttons on the remote. There was a small privacy problem with the toilet and bathroom which could be a problem for some guests
