Quirky cottages set in a bush land setting away from the busyness of Lakes Entrance

Bathroom could benefit from updating.

Location was great, and the inside of the cabin was reasonably clean and the kitchen was well equipped.

Firstly we had a mouse in the kitchen of our cabin which wasn't ideal given we had two young children's with us, we requested a cot at booking but it never arrived, access to the sight wasn't an issue for us in a 4WD but would be reasonably inaccessible if you were in a sedan or sports car as the track was quite washed out and muddy. It was very cold inside the cabin and firewood had to be paid for in addition to the booking, the overall tidiness of the site was definitely lacking, an abandoned caravan stood between us and a view of farmland, gardens were all overgrown and roads were not maintained.

My husband and I had a lovely stay - the electric blankets that were turned on was a wonderful surprise this time of year.

Really nice cute space - wood fire was lovely!

Not that it was a huge downfall but would be good if in the future there was more lighting to help with exiting the property at night (if walking) as was very dark (even using mobile torch light).

Beautiful, peaceful setting with abundant wildlife. Fantastic staff who were very understanding of our need to check in after hours. Comfortable self contained cottages. Wonderful bird watching and possum feeding experiences. 24 hour access to reception area and laid back atmosphere made for a wonderful stay. Would love to have stayed longer.
