at least hand soap is a MUST in the bathroom, that was very disappointing. and u need to be specific that is a alojamento, not a hotel, thats what i thought it was

Location is very good, direct access to the beach

The road is pretty noisy

perfect location, you have your own access to the beach. the place was spacious, clean and really well equipped (except toiletries and basics like coffee) with all kitchen appliances, a dishwasher, a dryer for clothes and towels for the beach.

it did not provide coffee, or toiletries. all other properties we booked in the island had a cute basket with coffee, biscuits, and other basics.

The apartment is clean spacious and well equipped. my husband found thought the bed and pillows the best he had ever slept on in a holiday home, for me they were too hard. The apartment is in a good location, bus into Ponta Delgado took less than 10 minutes and are very regular. The beach is so convent, just across the road. Car parking looked like it might be an issue, but wasn’t, we always found somewhere to park near by

The housekeeper lived nearby and responded quickly to any of our requests. Because of her and all the help she gave we give a high rating to this property. As most information was in German she was on hand to give essential details as to how and where thing were and how they worked

We had some difficulty in finding the property. Even the taxi driver who was also our day quide could not find the place or how to get in to the property. The code to open the door was emailed to us 2 days after we left home so we had no way of getting in even after we found the place. HOUSEKEEPER TO OUR RESCUE. Clearly more information in English is required.

The apartment is roomy and new, comfortable. The location is amazing, as all you need is to cross the street and plunge into the sea.

The street is busy and a bit noisy.

Very clean, well equipped and extremely nice finished. Also the housekeeper was very friendly and welcoming.

The front door gives directly on the Main Street. Despite there is no noice from the street in the apartment.

The apartment was perfect and the hosts were beyond sweet and accommodating. We are so thankful to have spent our time in Ponta Delgada here and have the apartment as our “home” base. The apartment is perfectly located to visit all parts of the island in under an hour. It is 10 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Downtown, and 10 minutes from the Pineapple Plantation. It is in a safe location. Parking is on the street, and the only day we couldn’t park right across the way was a really great beach day Friday! Regardless there is plenty of parking nearby and easy to walk to and from the building. We loved that it is right on the beach, and close to a church. Hearing the waves and occasion church bells were so peaceful and welcoming. The apartment itself is gorgeously redone and done clearly with a lot of thought. The balcony views of the beach are amazing! It’s nice to just sit and listen to the waves for hours. The rest of the apartment is well appointed, in every room. Bedrooms are nicely decorated and have furniture for clothing. There is a large hall closet with hangers. Bathroom is spacious with towels and a hamper. Bring your own toiletries or go shopping at the food store which has everything you need and is only 10 minutes away. There is a full kitchen to cook in, and the hosts have thought of everything you need to use the kitchen and make a meal. You can then eat dinner at the dining room table. There is a washer/dryer if you would like to do laundry. Again, a true home away from home apartment to make your trip easy and fun. Plus you can’t hear any noise from the street in the bedrooms (we find that people rarely honk anyway here). We are so thankful for our hosts graciously hospitality!

Parking could be difficult until you learned how to do it (especially driving manual) but this is no fault of the hosts or the apartment. Just a general head’s up for the area as a whole!
