Modern, clean and social

A small and cute hostel. comfortable bed. A sitting area in the living room and another on the patio outside. Very nice staff but only speak Spanish. Excellent location near the Japanese garden and very close to the main square. 10 minutes walk from the bus terminal. good breakfast. I loved the place

Very small kitchen (but well equipped). The wifi doesn't really work on the patio. Very small showers. In general, this is a small and compact hostel. The team is there from the morning until 16:30 After that, none of the team is there. If you check in after 16:30 it gets complicated sometimes

I choose this place because it says on booking that you can pay with credit card mastercard/visa. But getting there they told me only cash

Very clean, homely, relaxed, easy communication via whatsapp, friendly staff, easy and flexible check-in/out, staff allowed us to use the hostel after check-out to wait for the midnight bus.

Very expensive for what you get. They charged us more at check-in (you have to pay cash) then we booked it for at Booking.com (we didn’t pay attention and realised it too late, so we didn’t discuss it with the hostel). No tax refund for tourists. There are more guest then the facilities comfortably allow for. There was not enough toilet paper.

It’s a really well managed and nice place!! I could only stay one night, because I was on my way to San Pedro but could stay there much longer.

This has been our favourite accomodation in South America so far (we’ve done 5 countries in 3 months). The location is perfect, the place is so nice and clean and the rooms are so comfy… feels like a boutique B&B. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good.

Only negative of our stay was the wifi, it’s not great.

I liked everything ! I highly recommend El Arbol hostel. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The location is very good, near to the center, 20-25 minutes walking from the pacific and the faro, and as well 8-10 minutes walking from the bus terminal.

It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

The only thing which could be improved is breakfast. We would have loved one fruit juice or some fruits as well. But the jam and bread was always delicious and we got eggs or cheese. :)

Wifi connection was terrible

Excellent position, super clean! The living room is perfect for meeting people and sharing experience. The atmosphere is really lovely.

Lovely, clean place with the friendliest staff. Great location, 10minute walk from the bus station and supermarkets and 5 minutes to the main plaza.

Wi-Fi not very strong.

It's so close to the airport and located in a pleasant area. Service was ok.

It is more expensive than it merits based on amenities.
