I particularly liked the fact that it's "in the countryside". Lovely peaceful location with enough comforts around for a great stay. Nice wooden balcony with table and chairs where I ate dinner one evening

Lift, huge room, great bed, wooden furniture, balcony, separate toilet and bathroom, all sparkling clean. Very convenient, self-service vending spot on the ground floor for soft drinks, etc. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

A mini fridge inside the room would be usefull.

The receptionist said the air conditioning is out of order in the heatwave of August.

A delightful place. Not the normal hotel but all the better for that. Breakfast was amazing. Big bright room and location in a village within driving distance many beautiful places.

Friendly welcome. Spacious, clean and comfortable room with everything one could need. There is a full kitchen to use, plus kettle and tea and coffee in room. Garden with BBQs, trampoline, ping pong etc, kids had a great time. Lovely location and right on the Emmental cycle trail. Highly recommended

We came to Lutzelfluh to look for family history connections. It was a surprisingly quaint town and we feel it gave us a very authentic "Swiss" experience. Although breakfast was not included in the cost of the room, we were offered and served a very nice Swiss traditional breakfast for 30 CHF.

We had to modify our dates and the staff was not responsive to email, but we understood the slower pace of life when we arrived in Lutzelfluh.

Booking.com gives a wrong distance of the property to Bern, it is actually 28km from the old city.

Our family of five stayed here for only one night. We arrived very late in the evening and everything was ready and the kind owner was still available to assist with checking us in. This guesthouse really exceeded our expectations. Everything was spotlessly clean, the rooms were very spacious, had all the amenities one could expect and more! We had an extremely comfortable stay here! We can really recommend this guesthouse to any one who wants to stay close to Bern (yet wake up in a beautiful village surrounded by nature). Thank you for making our stay very memorable!
