Private and secure
Beach was disappointing, required golf cart taxi to and from restaurants, dood was bland. No salt/pepper on table. And a speech on why not on the table. No A/C in Oceana restaurant. The best thing was the service people.

I was there for a buddy's wedding. Your staff literally booted the BRIDE & GROOM off of the property over 1 week before their HONEYMOON was supposed to end.
The reason they gave is that the night before (which happened to be his wedding night) "he head-butted an underage guest" whose mother would like to press charges against him. He was further told "the interaction was captured on video." He requested to see the video and they denied him.
The supposed incident took place shortly after 10pm on Sunday, March 10, 2024. We know the exact time because his wedding was set to end at 10pm, and over 30 guests walked from the wedding to the bar next to the main lobby to continue the party after the music concluded. There were many young people staying there for Spring Break, and many of those kids were in the same bar after we were. At no point was the Groom ever alone in that bar, and over 20 of the wedding guests were standing next to him at the bar having more drinks because it was immediately after the wedding and we were all still having fun.
Your staff refused to speak to any other guests about this incident (myself included) before unilaterally kicking them out. Your staff gave them until noon to check out on Monday the 11th. I know this because I HAD BREAKFAST with the Groom myself that morning, and said goodbye to him when my airport shuttle was scheduled at 11am for a 3pm flight, only to again meet the Bride and Groom inside the Cancun International Airport at 1pm that same day.
Your staff utterly failed to research this issue before cutting short their honeymoon, offered zero refund for over 1 week's worth of additional stay, refused to show the video (which we doubt even existed), and refused to interview any other guests who were present and can vouch that no fight ever occurred. Even stranger, they never bothered to contact the authorities or "press charges" when he was so clearly identified on the video!?

The property was beautiful and very well maintained.
Food sanitation practices were not maintained, causing us to get sick at the resort early on at our trip. Proper cross contamination and salmonella preventative measures should be enforced strictly to prevent guests from getting sick.

Some of the staff was rude the guys that drove the cart was really nice the beach attendant was rude. They just walk in your room without knocking. It’s only one smoke spot u can’t even smoke cigarettes on the beach . I picked a adult only resort and they have more rules than the regular resorts

The staff were amazing the service provided was a 10/10 although there were a few problems during our stay that were not dealt with accordingly.
I gave the staff decorations and they decorated the room which was a lovely touch.
The whole hotel is beautiful and you will not run out of things to do as there is a whole other hotel you have access to and buggys available 24/7 which is a great touch full of friendly drivers.
The food is amazing and there is a wide range my personal favourites were Japanese and Italian.
Whoever books this hotel will enjoy their stay but I would keep in mind you may have problems just like any stay anywhere
I'd recommend as it is worth the stay but I wouldn't book again but I enjoyed the experience.
Our spa bath in our room had sand coming through every time you'd turn it on. Which meant maintenance had to come and fix it twice and every morning we had to run the bath and filter it out. We were not offered a room change I had to request one.
We tried another 'swim out' room as that is what we wanted and were currently in. However the same issue in one of the new rooms with the spa bath and in the second option swim out room the swim out water was very cold which maintenance told us could be fixed as they filter the water to a warm temp but reception denied this being true.
So our options were to pay for an upgrade or receive a free room change to a downgraded room. We left it as too much hassle to change but on our last night they upgraded us to another room for 1 night which we appreciated.

Nice and clean resort, good drinks and food, personnel is so attentive and friendly, beach is clean and lots of space. Late check-out option. Would definitely recommend this hotel and also Secrets group!

The location is fantastic, the enormous pool area leads directly to the beach, so you can wander between both. There are great bar facilities at both areas, a lovely beach bar with swings, and a swim up bar at the pool! The breakfast had an amazing selection, everything from cooked breakfast, omelette station, pastries, continental breakfast, fruit, everything. The room was great, fantastic bed and bathroom.
It is all inclusive which is great, however the cocktails tended to be more 'cocktail mix' than actual made from scratch cocktails, but great all the same. It could do with a few more evening locations, I think the piano bar was not in action because they were using it as a covid testing area, so maybe if that had been there it would have been better.

The resort was very beautiful and the staff was very friendly.
My room was beautiful however it was very clear that there was a presence of mold in the dwelling. You can smell the presence of mold/mildew when enter the room. I notice a lot of water damage throughout the property and my assumption was confirmed when unpacking the next day I checked in, my luggage had mold growing on the outside of it.
The free alcohol was trash. I drunk and drunk and drunk and never could get drunk. While swimming in the pool a lot of guest asked, if felt the alcohol was good, pretty much everyone said the same thing, it was not. One time I literally took like 10 shots and didn’t feel a thing, I’m only 110 lbs.

They tried to charge me more than my booking price bc they don't answer their emails and you could not call from out of the country. Then, they tried to charge me more at checkout. I paid the extra charge as it was expected, but they didn't want to honor the quote. Instead charge me an extra $1k-ish. I took screenshots and had my emails to the property that I took at upgraded price when I added a guest. Problem solved.
Checkout, they "lost" the notes and payment then tried to charge me again. No. Not happening. Then, they found it. Audios!

There is privileged club inside resort so unless u one of them you can’t use cabanas on the pictures or go to restaurants for breakfast even if u pay your $750 per night. Basically you are a second class unless u pay more money on arrival. They call it a promotion but it is a clear false advertisement. Bookings warn your customers !
