Vittorio and Doris made for one of my best stays on the Amalfi coast. From the moment we arrived they looked after our every need! They cooked for us every evening, which wasn't planned or expected. The "pizza dinner " was one of the highlights. This won't be my last visit to "La Pennichella"!!!!

We have loved the location. The apartment is located in a quiet small village surrounded by mountains where the trekking lovers will find their happiness but also close to the sea We have loved our hosts. We had a great fortnight in Campora. Thanks to its 650 m elevation it was never too hot, so you sleep well there. View over the village and the sea is gorgeous. The owners are very kind; they are always available for giving directions and suggestions for activities. They are also ready to give you a lift in their car, and they spoiled us with excellent tiramisu and chocolate cake. Moreover, they prepare delicious pasta and pizza. Bus stop is just a few steps away, so you can rely on public transport. Also, a nice pizzeria (da Nando) is nearby. Campora is a great starting point for hiking, e.g. sentiero degli dei, and others on the slopes of costiera amalfitana.

We had a great stay at La Pennichella, the hosts Vitorio and Doris are a very friendly couple. They cooked great traditional dinners for us with fresh vegetables from their own garden. We sat every evening and enjoyed their home cooked amazing Italian food on the terrass overlooking the green mountains of Agerola. The appartement was big and very clean. We didnt have a car but that was no problem as the host could help us out with daytrips down to Almalfi coast.

I think Northern Europe people are used to softer mattresses but that's not really a problem.
