Set in a rural location surrounded by corn fields we were given a lovely clean room with a homely, lived-in atmosphere. If you want a modern, Habitat style hotel this is not for you but we loved it. Claudia, the host, welcomed us with a glass (or two) of very nice port. She speaks excellent English (and several other languages) and has a wealth of knowledge about the region. Breakfast, served outside, was more than adequate. This is a good location for exploring the area. The Aveiro lagoon and beach are only a short drive away and there are good restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

Mosquitos waking up all night, some weird little animal eating the wooden walls all night. Expected a farm, ut it was not a farm.., no WiFi..

Very friendly and kind host. Claudia gave us many tips for dinner options and further inspiration for our trip. The place is very cozy and clean. Thank you for this great experience! :-)

The owners are the best! Breakfast was superb, very gourmet. I loved the farm atmosphere!

It’s a bit difficult to find. But worth it. Looks iffy driving up to it.

Room 3 - Extremely small room, too much furniture and very thin floor/walls so you can hear the downstairs guests talking and snoring. Barking dogs all night will keep you awake so best bring earplugs.
