The apartment is clean and spacious at the top of the stairs. The city is on a hill so climbing should be a traveller's expectation. It feels like a castle inside and decor to match. A full kitchen and you can drink the water. Beds for five are comfortable and the larger bathroom/shower is a welcomed amenity. No A/C but opening up the windows even on a warm summer night let's the breeze flow through in perfect comfort. Get out and explore the history and mystery of this pre-Roman fortification. The host is timely, kind and offers many tips for enjoying the city, and finding a great place for dinner.

Parking and driving in town are challenging in a larger vehicle, but our host made it happen.

We were received by the hostess who showed us where we could park our car in the ZTL during our stay. The apartment was huge and had a nice roof terrace overlooking the city. The apartment is in the old center, so it was a 3 minute walk to the old center.

The plates in the cupboard didn't look clean, but I guess they were a bit surprised by our our visit just after the lifting of the COVID restrictions :-)
