Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Restaurants and convenience stores are about 15 mins walking distance. The hotel is located on a small street, so it is quiet. The food served at the restaurant inside the hotel was pretty decent.

Nothing major. The room is relatively small. The swimming pool is also small.

I had Junior Suite, Room 219, corner, for 4 nights. This hotel was great, I booked airport pickup from them in advance, pickup was there when i exited airport. about 20 min drive from airport to hotel. Check-in was quick, staff friendly. The pool looked nice, but i never used it. The room was great! lounge area, dinning area, 2 queen beds, TV, a safe, and large bathroom. Breakfast included. The TV only has one English channel, CNN travel channel. The food was good, breakfast was a bit lacking, they did have fresh fruit and fresh juice. I ordered twice from the restaurant, both times delivered to my room as i asked. Caesar salad with grilled chicken was very good, and grilled chicken with salad and fries meal, with ice cream (comes with chocolate sauce on side) was a good second meal. I used the tour agency that is under the hotel, around the corner to the right, willy tours, its nice that it is close. The hotel is very close (1 block) from the large park in San jose, and within 30 min walk of downtown san jose (central market, etc..) I walked to multiple museums, parks, downtown, restaurants, the hotel is in a good location, and has a door security guard at night. Grocery supermarket 1 block across the street. Overall this was a great hotel to stay at, quality and value for money, I would return again for sure.

There is not much i didnt like, but i am very critical so did notice some things: -The room floors are extremely slippery. They are some kind of wood or fake wood floor, but with socks or without socks (dry feet) you slide very easily on the floors. Probably ok if you wear shoes in the room. -The only thing missing from the perfect room was a mini fridge. -The ice machine was on the 3rd floor (i was on second), most hotels normally put one on each floor, but not a big deal, i dont mind a flight of stairs.

Safe was old type with a key. Did not know if it worked. (Did not ask front desk) Facility was not a recent design, lacks details of newer hotels (Small bathrooms) Yet functional overall!

Easy to get to for 1 night stay, comfortabel big bed, easy secure parking, very friendly staff, great water pressure in the shower which was lovely after some days staying at places with very little water pressure. Also the breakfast was great

No option to turn on the air ventilation in the bathroom, which made it very damp. For the price I would’ve expected the bathroom and bedroom to be cleaner. We also slept with a window facing the restaurant which was a bit noisy, although the restaurant closes at 10PM, so around 10:30 it was pretty silent. Just good to keep in mind

A bit of walk into the centre of town if you don’t like to walk. I do and enjoyed what I saw along the way.

very noisy hotel, you can hear everything around you from the street, to other rooms, doors opening and closing etc. not the best hotel if you’re looking for a relaxing night.

Everything was clean, everything worked fine and the breakfast was pretty good.

Reception wasn’t super helpful, but not a big deal. We asked if they knew how to get to Manuel Antonio and they said they had no idea, I would assume that’s a pretty common question and there was at least a brochure on the wall.

lady serving food at buffet, never smiled nor welcomed our group. She needs to smile and engage with guests.
