Good dorm, huge bathrooom and lockers. Everything was clean. Good kitchen. Very friendly family that gave us good recommendations and furthermore always tried to help us as much as they could. We enjoyed our stay there a lot!!

Location is very great, in the middle of the city center. Liked, that they were very helpful with giving recommendations, helping with reservations, sharing information regarding the city and places to go, etc. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed that it was a little fresher during nights, compared to León, Granada, etc. Really enjoyed the platform, where I did yoga twice :) Also there is enough space (balcony and terrace) to just relax or get some stuff done.

It is a little bit strange to share the kitchen with the owner and that there are seperated using areas. Makes it not that comfortable preparing his own food if you are not sure what you are allowed to use.

I liked the staff. I also liked the location!

Big dorm room, huge bathroom and basically a closet for the lockers. Very nice owners and felt like staying at home almost, even if just for one day. Also checked in at 8 am, skipped the night in Leon cuz the heat was unbearable and they were gentle enough to accept my request for early check in!

The staff was unfriendly, and behaved as if they were doing me a huge favor every time I asked for something. As a backpacker you don’t really have other choices in Matagalpa, and they clearly take advantage of that with their service and attitude.

Cute hostel with friendly staff and beautiful plant decorations. Would recommend to other :)

Nice stay in Matagalpa, central location, big comfortable beds. The lady did not speak a lot of English, but we managed with some basic Spanish skills.

We had some problems, for two nights we did not have any water in our room. Seemed to be a problem in the whole city of Matagalpa, and they gave us a big bucket of rain water to clean ourselves. Needed to pay extra when paying with credit card which is not mentioned on booking.com (but because of the water problems, we did not have to pay the extra fee, thank you!)

Great location, super friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, nice rooms.

Incredible place! Clean, large private rooms with king size comfortable bed. Lots of places to sit and socialize, or quietly read. Very central location - easy to walk to the market and restaurants.

Spacious rooms, clean, friendly staff and good location, with restaurants and cafes around the corner.

Breakfast included is average. We had 2 different rooms during our 2 separate stays. The first room was perfect, the second one was noisy due to the street and the smoke from the people smoking on the terrasse constantly entered the room - really depends on the room you get.

Stijn was kind and helpful with our travel plans. The room was spacious, clean and the linen very crisp and fresh :)! A plus is the hot shower. I can recommend this place.
