Exceptionally clean, newly renovated motel style unit at rear for Hotel. Units have private courtyard, then walkway between the beer gardens(👍) with Pizza Oven to the Pub section with full restaurant. Great meals, great service and super clean. Will go again for sure!

Nothing. Even vacating was easy with a key drop box if fully paid night before as Pub doesn't open t legal hours in morning - so very easy.

we were given the disabled access room (13). The shower was like a fire hose and previously someone had flooded the bathroom and the carpet in the room had been wet and not dried underneath so the room had a foul smell of mould.

This has been the highlight of my travels so far. Gulgong is a beautiful town, and The Prince of Wales Hotel is the perfect place to stay. Reception is at the bar, and it is such a friendly place. The bar is wonderfully decorated. Rooms are at the back of the hotel with parking. The room we stayed in was immaculate and well appointed. A double bed and single bed with a decent bench between the beds. A spacious and clean bathroom, shower only. Air-conditioning works well, TV and microwave. Not only do they provide tea and coffee but also hot chocolate. We had a meal of fish and chips in the hotel dining room on arrival. The service was excellent and the food was cooked beautifully. We really enjoyed tasting some gin distilled in the local area. I cannot recommend this place enough, I cannot fault it.

bathroom fan didn’t work and locks to door and security gate needed lubricant or a new key as it was so difficult to open, nearly bent the key
