We loved our stay at this hotel. You need to drive up the mountain, so it’s not for everyone, but if you want a beautiful resort type hotel in the mountain with an amazing view.. go there! After the beach, we always went to the pool to watch the sunset and have drinks. It was gorgeous! Very clean and nice pool and you see the stromboli. The breakfast was great, with a view of the pool and the mountain. The room was large enough but the shower cabin was a bit small(whatever not a big deal). Our friends has a smaller room but bigger shower.. We ate at the owner’s restaurant which is a few minutes walk from the hotel and very good. It’s super convenient if you do not want to drive down to Tropea at night. There were several nice restaurants in the area as well, if you want to change it up. The family that owns this place is very nice. They told us which beach to go to, found us a ride to Tropea one night and even drove our friends to the train the last day! Overall we loved this place.

The best accommodation for a whole month in Sicily and Italy. Beautiful, clean accommodation in a closed area with an amazing pool. Cleaning and change of towels every day. Breakfast by the pool (amazing and fresh daily). The surrounding beaches are clean with plenty of refreshments and great attractions. I recommend!

Very nice location, beautiful pool area surranding with oil trees, amazing view to the see and Stromboli. The owners are very nice people, always working and helping to make your holiday perfect!

Nothing to mention: everything was perfect!!!

Peace on earth, surrounded by nature, staff was excellent and the pool was amazing. They also have a restaurant around 500m away from the hotel and they serve excellent food.

What's not to like?

Such a beautiful tranquil place, with lovely well-maintained grounds and an exceptional pool area which quite often we had to ourselves for periods during the day. The owners and staff are extremely warm and friendly and we ate each night at their fantastic restaurant just down the road. The room we had was huge, had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Brattirò itself is around ten minutes away on foot and we loved visiting for a few Spritz in the evening. We loved our short stay and plan to return next year.

Our room was clean, comfortable and a good size. We used the pool during the day which was never busy and was also very clean, with lots of sunbeds to use by the pool. Breakfast was great, with a choice of fresh fruit, pastries and cereals as well as whichever fresh coffee you liked. The owner Pasquale and his staff were all welcoming, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend Borgo San Cosmo to anyone looking to stay in the area of Tropea.

There was nothing we did not like!

Very warm welcome by Mario and Pasquale. The room and pool area were spotless. The outdoor landscaping was really impressive, with olive trees and Mediterranean plants. We definitely recommend this accommodation and would be happy to come back one day!

Excellent choice for a retreat in a calm, idilical place amongst the palms and the olive trees with a view on the Tyrrhenian sea in the distance and the sound of crickets. Very clean, comfortable and spacious suite with a terrace, free parking, excellent swimming pool and a tastefull self service breakfast. You can find their restaurant nearby. Very kind and helpfull owners Mario and Pasquale. Special thanks to Mario who tends to every single customer at breakfast. He also treated us to a drink at dinner. We also recieved a farewell gift. Recommend.
