Very comfortable and spacious. We spent 5 days at the villa and had a wonderful time. Host was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants as well.

It is quite far from everything at least by foot. With a car it would be great but if you do not have a car it is difficult to get places without paying for taxis.

Lovely villa, well taken care of, nice pool area, lovely owner!!! Could not been a better holiday. Got homemade pastries for breakfast one morning. Loved the personal touch for the stay.

We just returned from a week stay at Villa Kastellakia and we had a wonderful stay. The host was nothing short of wonderful, welcoming us into the villas, as if it were our home. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed with two little ones, and I can confirm the villa is good for kids. It is quite large, and had plenty of room for our little ones to run around. The play room was a bonus, and the kids loved knowing there was a special space set aside just for them. Our host was kind enough to provide a baby cot and high chair, which was very helpful. Also, the layout of the house makes it quite okay for kids. The location was also really nice, it is close enough to Rethymno but also not too far into the hills. Its also a good location to get to the beaches in the South quite easily, in less than an hour. The kids pool was also fantastic, as was the rest of the outside amenities. We will definitely stay here again, and it was well worth it.
