Fantastica struttura che ti fa fare un salto nel passato. Appena fuori dal paese di Valfabbrica . Il personale simpatico e disponibile meritano un 10 . Usufruito della mezza pensione con colazioni a buffet abbondanti e cene veramente buone. Camera accogliente e ben pulita. Consigliatissimo

Take a seat at one of the castle's terraces or climb on top of the caste tower. Take a glass of wine or a belgian beer and enjoy the amazing view from the castle. You may also catch a light breeze of wind during hot days from there. The dining room of the castle breathes the medieval style. Strategic position to places like Assisi. The castle itself is quite isolated but a car brings you everywere. Dont mind the bumpy road through the woods to get to the castle.

Sanitaire is kind of medieval style as well and needs refurbishment. Rooms on first en second floor can get warm because of no airco.

This castle is located in one of the most beautiful valleys of the area. The atmosphere was amazing and the panoramas are to die for. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere during dinner was really special. Assisi is just a short ride away making this a good place to retire to if you are interested in visiting the city.

We were quite unlucky and visited during some super warm days. If you get the room who gets the most sun during the day like we did it is almost impossible to sleep there as it is extremely warm. To be expected in old buildings (of course you can't have air con) but we couldn't sleep at all for2 nights. I also wouldnt describe the mattress as confortable. The room had a pleasant whirpool bath but I assume the jets were not cleaned recently as a whole bunch of sand flied out once I activated them.

Fantastic location in a beautiful castle. Friendly helpful staff especially Marco. Exceptional views especially from the top of the tower. Delicious four course dinner available. Lovely pool but located about 750m drive away and you pay an extra 5 euros per day per person,well worth it on a hot day.

Cannot comment on the castle bedrooms but the 1 bedroom apartment is in need of refurbishment. There is damp on the walls and peeling paint in the bathroom.Cracked floor tiles . The fridge is old, cracked and rusty. The fly screens don't fit properly. Very hard bed with unstable surround.Loose light fitting. Old towels covered in bleech marks. Concerned about a fire exit as bars on all the windows so stuck if unable to get out of the one door. I understand that this is an extremely old castle and refurbishment is on going , the apartment is not quite there yet.

Location was perfect for us and the castle made the stay more special

It was a bit hit when we arrived, so air con would have been nice. But then again that would spoil the charm of the castle

Location is good, 30 minutes from Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi. Nice view from bathroom. Good staff. Good heating. Wide and comfortable beds.

We had a 2 bedrooms apartment, it is located ca. 700m from the castle, i.e it's no castle at all. When we arrived there was garbage from previous guests and an old and dirty fridge. Fridge was however replaced by a newer one. No TV, almost no wi-fi. Some kitchenware not clean. Bathroom is for handicapped persons, means it is not comfortable for everyone.
