Wonderful house with lots of history. The owners are incredibly helpful and determined to make sure that your stay is perfect. This is a must for people with interest in history and literature.

Wi-Fi wasn't great in the bedroom but honestly I didn't care. They told you where it was good and that's where I used it.

Excellent choice of breakfast. It's a bit further out of Ventnor than expected, but the walk to Ventnor via the coastal path is excellent

Country house, coastal location. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Large room with sea view. Nearby coves, botanical gardens and park. Breakfast selection, freshly prepared. Hospitality of the hosts. We would recommend Lisle Combe to family and friends.

The age and original character of this property brings a lot of charm and some limitations. The hosts make guests aware of these in their accommodation overview, so no surprises.

Lovely location with extensive grounds. Very welcoming hosts. A proper historic house with lots of books to read, and the history of author and poet Alfred Noyes was very interesting. Very good breakfasts served, and Ruth was really helpful about places to visit on the island.

Nothing really. It's an old house so don't expect super-modern facilities. We had no problems staying in a home of real character, although the red squirrels absented thesmselves during out 6 day visit!

Breakfast was delicious and substantial. Our hosts were first class.

The owners were so helpful and the breakfast was lovely. The view from our window was fabulous and the history of the place was a joy.

I really like a feather pillow however realise most bnbs don’t have these so, as much as I would have liked one,this did not spoil my stay 😃

This was an interesting place to stay in the Isle of Wight rather than your bulk standard accommodation. The host Ruth was friendly and welcoming. It was a good base for our travels around the island.
