literally everything; this place is a gem. lucia the host is the kindest loveliest lady u will meet in puglia. she really went the extra mile to make sure everything was dreamy about our stay - the breakfast in particular with the incredibly delicious food and the gorgeous view is the best way to start a day. i will treasure the memories i made here forever!

The location is perfect with the most gorgeous view of the sea. Lucia is the best hostess and nothing is too much trouble for her. She makes you feel so welcome. We relaxed the minute we arrived. This was our 2nd stay at the Belvedere and we will definitely return!

My daughter called the place Paradise and the host an angel. Everything was more than perfect. The views are stunning, the landlady just kindness itself. Breakfast like in 5 stars hotels, everything fresh and tasty. Never before I have felt that 10 in booking.com is not enough to rate a property.

Maria is an absolute angel with excellent English. She was patient with our arrival and went above and beyond, taking care of the delivery of my luggage (that had been lost by the airline) so that we could enjoy Castro. She recommended a lovely restaurant (Tuna) and invited us to help ourselves to anything in the kitchen for lunch which was incredibly helpful since we arrived when all the restaurants were closed. The location is fabulous, up in the old town with stunning views from the terrace and a pleasant meander down to Castro Marina where we enjoyed a swim off the rocks with the locals. The property is in a residential area that is very safe, with good bike storage (though down several flights of stairs!) Breakfast was bountiful and excellent, (served by Maria's delightful mother, Lucia) with homemade cakes, eggs, meat, cheese, great coffee and - the only time we had it in Italy - fresh-squeezed orange juice! This was one of our favourite places in Salento and we would love to return and stay here again.

Perfect location with breathtaking views over the sea. The owners were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing and kept us going for most of the day! I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely go back!

Breakfast was Amazing, served in the terrace in a trolley for ourselves with everything you could imagine.
The views are indescriptible so wonderful
The terrace and relax area were a plus, You can relax in The little garden in The comfy chairs and enjoy the view.
The host, Lucia, was a real “signora”, very nice Italian lady

The Belvedere b&b is a gem. It has the most wonderful view from its terrace. Breakfast was wonderful - tea, coffee, fresh juice, yummy local cake and pastries as well as breads and cured meats and was served on the terrace by the friendly and gracious host Lucia. The room and modern ensuite were spotless. A fantastic visit.

The Belvedere family, Especially Lucia were amazing 🥰
As a solo traveler with no car, I got off the wrong bus stop and Maria ( the daughter who was in Rome) sent a taxi to collect me and insisted they pay.
The room was very spacious, sparkling clean, very comfortable with an amazing view of the ocean.
Any questions I had Maria patiently and quickly answered in every detail.
The breakfast was a fresh made banquet. Prepared snd served with love. Plus doggie bags each morning to take the delicious delights away. The attention to each guests wants/ needs was outstanding ❤️❤️❤️
The location is beautiful, as I said overlooking the ocean, a two minute walk to the castle/ piazza and 10 ( all downhill to the Marina). There is a very cute train that will take you back up the hill ( if like me, didn’t want to walk ) for 2 Doris one way or three for a return trip.
The morning I was leaving Lucia’s husband dropped myself and another guest to the bus stop- we didn’t even ask.
A real jewel in the treasure chest of Salento, Puglia.
The Belvedere, really is a magical place snd I’ll definitely be returning 🥰🥰🥰
