We booked a superior apartment, which was incredibly spacious with a lovely big terrace and huge kitchen. Trou d’Eau Douce is a local town and the hopping off point for Ile aux Cerfs plus lovely beaches just across the road. Restaurants are within easy walking distance and there’s a free car park across the road. An ideal place to stay to experience local Mauritian life. Michael, and all of his staff, are delightful.

We've spent 15 wonderful nights at Studio Manguillier and it was simply amazing. As a young and slightly adventurous couple, we were just hoping to have a nice, clean room and a kitchen and possibly a sea view. Studio Manguiller provided all that and much more! We got a whole apartment with 2 balconies and an amazing kitchen, toilette, great big comfortable bed, and everything was so clean and functional! This accommodation is what you can only wish for when you use booking.com. The hosts are great, they don't bother you at all if you don't want them to, but are very warm, welcoming, and ready to help you if you need it. The whole family is beautiful and happy, and we wish them all the success in their business in the future. Veronique, the very pleasant and professional housemaid did a great job, cleaning the apartment every day, adjusting to our changing tempo of being in and out of the apartment without a problem. Amazing lady. The location is just what we were looking for. It's just across the street from the nearest beach. It's on the wonderful east side of the Island, and maybe a 20-minute walk from some really breathtaking beaches. However, if you're planning to see more of the island you'll either need to use the local buses, which are a solid option, or even better, rent a car, which is relatively cheap, and drive around for days and days, and you will be amazed by what Mauritius offers. The location is also very close to Ille Aux Cerf, the beautiful island which is easily accessible by boat that departs literally 30 meters from the accommodation. The value for money here is unmatched by any accommodation we've ever had. Our time in Mauritius was pure happiness, and we're looking forward to returning to Studio Manguillier in the coming years.

Really struggling to find anything we didn't like at this location. The only possible little thing is that the tin roof makes a loud noise during a very strong rain, which can happen some nights in Mauritius, but even this we remember fondly now that we think about it. It just added to the adventure and the dynamic of our vacation.

Everything was perfect. Owners are very kind. The lady helped us with everything we needed. For us it was very pleasant stay. Unfortunately we couldn' t say hallo to them personally when leaving. Thank you for everything!!

Nice spacious studios with seaview and 2 terraces, we really enjoyed staying there, sitting on the terrace and listening to the sea. Nice owners!

Some bugs in the kitchen area

Location - Studio Mangguillier is just a few metres from the free public car park of Trou D'Eau Douce beach front with several good restaurants nearby. The facilities in the studios are ample for your needs with balconies both at the front and the back. Both balconies have comfortable chairs, tables and sun beds. The hosts Marie and Michel are wonderful hosts and very friendly "joie de vivre" people.

perfect location just in front of the beach where the boats leave to iles de cerfs. beautiful apartments and super friendly host. we really enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay longer.

Th perfect choice to stay at Studio Manguiller. Mr Michael and Véronique they make me feel like at home.Michael is a great host. The location is perfect to mouve along the coast and it is just two steps in front of the beach of the village. The atmosphere is the one of the little fishing village, local people are nice. The appartment was super clean, the kitchen well furnished, the bed big and comfortable. The wifi works perfectly. Hot water in the shower is there so appreciated. My appartment has two big balcony with a nice view and have nice moment..thanks with heart.

The only thing we noticed to improve is the wifi. You only have wifi in the kitchen.
