Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung. Sehr nette, freundliche Vermieter. Unseren Urlaub verbrachten wir zum Jahreswechsel in Walkenried. Als wir von unserem Silvesterspaziergang zurückkamen, erwartete uns eine Flasche Sekt vor der Tür, ein Gruß des Vermieters. Dies war eine sehr süße Überraschung, herzlichen Dank hiermit dafür.

Really well appointed and comfortable little apartment in a complex of 6 apartments (with more next door). Not far to walk to a supermarket and bakery and the monastery. Almost no restaurants in town. The play equipment (swing, mini slide, playhouse), a football goal and several barbeques in the enormous back yard looked promising for summertime! The hosts gave us a pass for free bus rides which while we didn't use, was appreciated.

Would have loved more toilet paper, bigger towels and a chopping board, but really these are minor in the scheme of things. The washing machine is coin operated and in the next building. The key collection time ended earlier than we would have liked but they were very accommodating.

Good size of accommodation. A quiet location. The apartment had everything we needed.

Small towels. It was a ground floor apartment and, unfortunately, it was possible to hear all footsteps from the 1st floor. Had to park in the road as other cars already occupied the parking spaces (although it is only a dead end residential road).

It's close to quite a few walks. We found a nice place to sit and chill. Nice apartment, quite and clean.

The Kitchen, Balcony and Bathroom and queitness

It smelled strange if we kept the windows closed, so we had to keep them open slightly all the time. Then it was ok.

Quiet, nature, clean, comfortable, spacious, good facilities such as dishwasher, compact and complete kitchen and dining area. Lovely open area at the back with children's play area, swing etc. Convent supermarket nearby. Better shopping facilities in nearby Bad Sacha. Great restaurant there, good value for money SchitzelHaus! Would stay again.

Location was 45mins to an hour away from places to visit. Only German speaking TV channels. No blackout blinds, was light early in the morning.
