This was definitely my favorite stay of my trip. getting to wake up to a beautiful garden and the most gracious hosts that took me in like family. this was a truly exceptional experience and one where I left having created friendships that I would be honored to host in my own home one day. Thank you for making this such an incredible part of my journey 🙏

Absolutely nothing. Some might think it’s a bit far from out of town but you can catch a 5 min moto taxi for 3-4 soles. but I actually preferred just taking a nice 15 minute walk through the fields and next to the river. it was a perfect distance to walk off a good meal in town.

Everything! the location is a quick walk to town. it’s quiet! The house is like a perfect museum. Do take a minute to look at the decorations. I’m sure they all have a story I’d love to hear some day. The property is beautiful and the staff is INCREDIBLE! Valentina and Pascal go above and beyond. Valentina gives the best needed hugs. 💕 The owner was flexible and caring. the balcony room is where it’s at…that bed! ❤️ I’ll return just for this place. it’s a must in the Pisac valley.

not a thing. it was all perfect!

A very special and personal stay. The house is beautiful. We were warmly greeted. We were the only guests in the house so it felt like we had a huge beautiful house to ourselves. The señora was very friendly and funny. We had nice chats. She made a delicious breakfast for us. At night they lit the fireplace for us. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. Parking was safe behind a closed gate.

Wowweee this place is magical! As an avid traveler I have stayed in thousands of place. This is for sure in my top 3. A true and authentic experience. Special thanks to Valentina for making us breakfast and for the good laughs. Much recommended!

Wifi in the bedrooms

Karina Wasi is a magnificent house inside of a gated property. The house is surrounded by a wonderful garden. The house itself feels like a home--its filled with personal touches and items that make it feel both lived in and quite special. The bedrooms are very nice with good beds. Bathrooms are good and the showers are quite nice with good hot water. The kitchen is very nice with all that one could want. The daughter of the property manager came in to make us a fresh, delicious breakfast that was included in our rate. She was extremely nice and the breakfast was wonderful. Given that the house is somewhat outside of town/Pisac, we found the property wonderfully tranquil and quiet. This is a really special place and a perfect base for exploring the town, the site, and hiking the beautiful surroundings.

Be aware that the main square of Pisac has been pulled up and is currently a dreadful construction site (December 2021). Quite sad. While this made walking and enjoying that part of town impossible, it did not have any impact on the beauty of the the archaeological site at Pisac nor on our wonderful stay at Karina Wasi.
