The fox was a lovely stay. Very cosy, large room and bathroom, warm, staff very attentive and always at hand to help, they gave us free warm milk for our daughters bottles. Good location, with parking too. We loved our stay :)

Perfect place for a family birthday event - we had 4 of the rooms and were given a private room for our evening meal. Great location with own car park (we also used the local village carpark for the electric charger for a few hours).

My Mum’s room had a wet bathroom floor when they arrived (but they didn’t tell the staff!) We waited a VERY long time for our breakfast - we ordered and waited for an hour for the full Englishes to arrive. No apology from staff - we were just told they were busy!

Fantastic location in the centre of Chipping Norton with car parking at the rear. All the staff were very friendly with evening meal and breakfast being first class.

A perfect stay for our first anniversary! We booked The Fox mainly for its convenient location but honestly would 100% return again because of the amazing staff, setting and food! Our room was lovely and has everything you need for a short break, even a lovely bottle of the local Hook Norton brewery beer in the room and a tasty brownie bite! The decor is a classics up market pub style and feels very welcoming but modern. The staff are all super friendly and couldn’t do more for you, a big shout out to Ben for fixing the issue the booking website (not the pub!) caused prior to booking. The breakfast that was included was so good but be prepared to be full because you want to eat it all is so good, we also had dinner at the pub and that was also amazing! The location is great for the Hook Norton brewery and surrounding areas, will certainly be back again. Pictures are of the dinner we had!

What a nice staff and what a lovely place to stay for two nights. At first I had a room at streetside. For my husband it was not a problem at all but I had a headache and they switched me to a (more) quiet room. We eat fish and chips at the restaurant and everything was more than we expected!

Characterful property tastefully refurbished. Free car park at rear. Excellent location. Very good range of Hook Norton beers. Excellent evening menu. Delicious breakfast. Very welcoming staff provided a high level of customer service. Definitely worth a return visit!

The room was lovely but the double bed ideally could have been larger, but was OK for a one night stay.
