Michael and Grace were responsive and helpful.

Small kitchen but had everything you could possibly need. The views were amazing and we fished off the little Jetty nearby.

The sommer bay beach house was a great accomodation for our anniversary get away. We travelled to the tesselated pavements, blow hole etc and it was in quite a good location from the main road. The reviews make it sound like it's miles away but it's in an ideal location. The house itself is incredible for the price with big spacious lounge dining area and all the items needed in the kitchen.

The scenery was good and the cottage was warm and comfortable. It contained everything we needed and more. I would definitely stay again.
It was a long drive into the cottage from the main road. But worth it once you got there.

The house is a little old, the sofa is dusty, and the key hiding place is too secretive!

Beautiful views, loved the hammock on the patio. Kitchen was well appointed, big bathroom (but small shower). View from the main bedroom is idyllic! Plenty of space for 6 people.
Didn't realise it was 10mins drive from the main road and then on to Port Arthur after that. I wouldn't stay there if I was planning on visiting the peninsula every day but I would definitely stay there just to enjoy the beautiful view, the beach up the road, the rock climbing down near the jetty and everything else the little area of Sommer's Bay has to offer all on its own.

The property was only 30 minutes scenic drive from Port Arthur. The views over the bay were spectacular and we really enjoyed walking down to the jetty and finding tiny crabs on the rocky beach. Comfy lounge room area and hammock on the deck. Dunally pub was good for dinner, about 20 minutes away but drive slowly in the dark as there’s lots of wildlife.
I know it’s just the design of the building but it was the only place in all our travels that didn’t have a wood fire. One of the beds wasn’t made with any sheets (fortunately found some sheets) and the doonas need updating. The bathroom was cold (couldn’t close a window) so we waited til morning to have showers.
I would stay again.
