Beautiful and big rooms, nicely decorated. Great location. Clean and tidy. Very good a la cart breakfast. Mario is a real gem and make the guests feel special and welcome.

Veldig god frokost. Satt stor pris på å kunne bestille fra menyen hva du ønsket, og at kokken laget det til deg. Både kokken og mannen som tok opp bestilling, serverte og fulgte oss opp under måltidet var genuint opptatt av om det smakte.

Kommer ikke på noe. Oppholdet var kun positivt.

Outstanding hotel - what a gem!

Beautiful suite. Excellent host in Mario. Wonderful breakfast. Loved the location by the royal park and easy walk to the harbor and museums.

Nice antic hotel in calm area, while not far from city center. The host is very friendly and complaisant. Hotel provides free parking slots. The room is charming with the spirit of old ages.

Lovely room in vintage historical home with massive bathroom. Great location by cafes, restaurants, tram and the royal palace park. Kind and warm staff. Would definitely stay here again.

location, Style, Service of excellence!

Breakfast is amazing, not the classic buffet and everything they prepare is delicious. Also the staff is so kind and you enjoy every moment, starting with a warm welcome. It is great having the parking available being in the center of Oslo, it is possible to walk to all main attractions.

The reception is not open 24/7, make sure to ask for a contact once there in case it could be needed.

The hotel staff were friendly and didn't mind the questions before the stay. Got a free upgrade to a junior sweet and my in-laws were very happy with their stay. 😊

The hotel was in a great location and a short walk from the train station. The room and en-suite were very large and excellently provisioned. However the top thing were the staff, they always went the extra mile. The following morning after they found out my partner and I were both gluten intolerant they presented special home made bread just for us! Fantastic.

The only very slight niggle was the fact there was a public car park right outside the bedroom window so there were coming and going’s at all hours.

Really cool boutique hotel in a historic building. Great location in the heart of Oslo, but just far removed enough from the hustle and bustle of the city center. SUPER comfy bed in a unique yet stately room. Staff/service was tip top, in a pleasantly old fashioned way :) Also nice restaurant/bar next door (I think they are affiliated with the hotel?) with a great wine list.

Although the neighborhood is generally quieter than many other parts of Oslo, there were some times when we could hear late-nite goings on coming from outside. Not ideal, but not a deal breaker. Would definitely stay again!

it is historic and in a great location. the man who welcomed us was kind and very helpful!

some of the items in room were faulty e.g. the candelabra continuously flickered, the bathtub drain went onto floor. we needed to leave early and there was no accommodation for breakfast.
