Friendly and helpful staff (Thank you for waiting up for us to arrive). Accommodation was clean but basic. the location and breakfast was amazing.

Quiet location in a beautiful setting. Ideally located, walking distance to Auris but feels isolated and tranquil. Beds were comfortable, sheets were provided and the onsite restaurant was very nice, with new set menus every night and fresh continental breakfasts every morning. Friendly management. Very quiet accommodation, which suited us, but wouldn't be appropriate for loud group.

Lovely location , lots of stairs to climb , but friendly staff and very good food.
Toilet en suite would have been nice but is well suited to groups.

L’Aurienchon is a fantastic place! We stayed here for two nights with our three sons (16,13,11) and loved it! Three main reasons to stay;
1) the amazing hospitality of Beatrice & Eric and especially Beatrice her cooking!
2) the relaxation space or “man cave” on the top floor with sofas, darts, pooltable, tv, wifi etc
3) the view & location. The view from the balconies is one of a kind and the Gite is a great starting point for Alpe d’Huez, La Grave, La Deux Alpes and loads of outdoor sports.
If you’re with a family, try and book the “La Meije” room.

it was a pity not having the possibility of have dinner at the property, considering no other options in the close surrounding
