Dining room was clean and open and socially distanced. We were made well aware that this is a new hotel and it was extremely clean in our room, no smoke smell nor pet smell. Had a beautiful view of the pool and found out it is heated, which we will take advantage of on our next visit, because we will visit again.

Upon arrival at approximately 1830 I stood in line for several minutes awaiting assistance. I noticed two women turned away for some reason as I approached counter I begin check-in process (check-in is at 1500). I was told there weren't any available rooms and it could be hours before my room became available due to short staffed and housekeeping being behind. I advised staff that was unacceptable as we traveled 100 miles with a nursing wife and made sure to arrive after the scheduled check-in time per all the email communications received. Upon the manager, Sunshine, coming to speak to me something miraculously happened and she said our room just became available. For our inconvenience (which we were inconvenienced) she offered us a 20% discount to our rate. The breakfast was okay, small portions, long line and condiments weren't all available.

Property is really clean. Staff are exceptional. However the bed is too soft for me. I slept terribly because of such.
