The house itself, patio and views were absolutely stunning! Samuel, Amelia and their daughters are the most welcoming, fun, lovely hosts we could have ever imagined. The location is perfect, affording access to fantastic walking paths, swimming opportunities, and delightful seaside seafood restaurants.

The location and view is excellent.

Although the cabin could be called quaint, the experience suffered from many evitable mishaps. Check-in was late because previous guests overstayed. The second day we did not have hot water until 4pm. The wooden chairs and tables felt as if they would collapse. The window shade on the bathroom fell off the last day. Several AC outlets did not work. All in all, some really minor home improvements would go a long way. It appears the owners simply have not maintained it for years.

A very special house in a remarkable and unique location. The owner takes pleasure in meeting his guests and was particularly kind to us.

Amazing house right on the beach and next to the best restaurant in town. Great hosts who sorted us out with a boat ride to an island to see penguins and organised a taxi for us on the day of travel to Valpo when it turns out no direct buses run.

Definitely stay here but make sure you bring mosquito repellant to ensure a night with no bites!

Location Excellent, Breakfast delicious and complete. liked everything, I enjoyed my stay. The house is amazing, plenty of history to enjoy. Jairo the concierge was awesome, so attentive, making sure that we were satisfied on our needs and comfortable, prepared great breakfast, also the fireplace for us. He made us feel at home. Casa Wilson is an old house next to the beach in Zapallar. The location is perfect. we really felt guests of the family that owns and lives in the house. The owner himself served breakfast and told us the story about the house. A good restaurant is only 50 meters away.

the shower is a bit old fashioned

This place is like stepping back in time to "old Chile". It is filled with antiques and incredible details. But the best thing about this is the location, right on the beach, steps away from El Chiringuito seafood restaurant (one of the most famous in Chile). Beautiful views. Eucalyptus scented air. Perfect for a family. The feeling is overall relaxed. I will definitely go back.

The place has an antique feel and is therefore a little worn with time (though it is quite clean). It is not updated in a luxurious way, but you almost don't want that.

Samuel and the staff were excellent

Do not go to the restaurant right by the beach, they do not like tourists. Made me and my pregnant wife wait 35 minutes for a table and then told us the kitchen was closed. (Not affiliated with casa Wilson)

The location is wonderful - right on the beach and the home is filled with interesting antiques from the past. Breakfast was great and the owner and his family are so eager to help. The owner even helped us clean our windshield when we left ! He also spoke English which was greatly appreciated

The house is like a museum full of antiques and rich history giving you the sense of what it was like to live there in the early 20th century. Samuel is the perfect host, full of information about the history and stories of Zapallar and his family's legacy there. There are several wonderful living spaces and terraces to enjoy as well as fusball, ping pong, chess, etc. with fabulous views and an ideal location. Breakfast each morning was terrific with the opportunity to interact with the other guests at the large dining table. Definitely a trip to remember.
