My ferry got cancelled and I booked Memories one hour before check-in. I was in a panic, bad mood, unhappy, bad rainy weather, but I arrived at Memories and it was like heaven. It literally saved me. Everything was immaculately clean (to an obsessive Japanese standard), pretty (obviously furnished by a woman with girly details, in a lovely way), good energy, super comfortable, beautiful little house, not stuffy at all like the place I stayed the night before, grey and rainy but still bright inside thanks to so many windows, so quiet and private, lovely little garden, has every household item you need, thoughtful and thorough binder of information, wonderful-smelling linens (weird comment but for a sensitive person it’s rare and special to have a comforting and delicate smell). I was tired and cranky so I just stayed in the whole day and watched Netflix in bed, lounged around. Staying here lifted my spirits to continue my travels. Finding Memories actually made me happy my ferry got cancelled! It’s crazy but true. Maybe not the cheapest option but worth every penny without a doubt.

Only stayed one day. Wish I had booked this the previous night. It was rainy and I couldn’t enjoy the cute garden. The only negative things that are testament to how positive this place is.

'Memories' was the perfect location. The hosts were exceptional and dealt very effectively with any questions asked. Nothing was to difficult. They also arranged our transfer to and from the airport and provided us with a hire car at a competitive price. The area in Sami where the house is situated is very quiet but close enough to the harbour and all the Tavernas and shops.

-The location was excellent, walking distance to everything in Sami. -The host was really nice and helpful. -The bed and pillows were very comfortable. -The house was well equipped with everything you may need, as well as a nice backyard to enjoy your coffee. -The shower was really nice, and there was a washing machine in the bathroom available. -Everything about this place was incredible! Whenever we return to Kefalonia we hope to stay here again!

Clean and cozy place.

Extraordinary polite and warming people, Angela and her father, who created a feeling of home in memories. The house is really high standard built and very well mantained. Eyecatching details are on every wall and every corner of the house. We even got presents (wine, sweets and so on when we arrived) and when we left as well!!! The terrasse is a beautiful place for breakfast and the house is best place located in the street behind the lovely port of Sami. Another highlight is of course the perfect quality of the drinking water!!! We didn't know that before. All in all we fully understood already after the first night why it is called 'memories'. From the first minute onwards it was a place which we will remember all time, me and my whole family!!! Many many thanks to Angela & Nikos for that unforgetable holidays and we hope to see each other again soon!!!
