The apartment was spacious clean and well equipped for all of us (11 and a baby) Arshad was very helpful and pleasant. The apartment is located on a quite street but close to lots of amenities, there is a lidl, some takeaways, bus stops, pub and cafe all located within walking distance

The location

Not enough bathroom facilities considering the property sleeps 11. one of the bathrooms being en-suite made it difficult. Needs at least another bathroom and separate toilet for the 9 people we had. Not enough toilet rolls / tea towels. Kitchen, lounge and dining are all too small for a large group of people.

The communal stairway was secure. And it had 4 bedrooms which we needed and extras like an iron and ironing board. The utensils are plentiful and clean in the kitchen too. As was the bedding and towels. It also had a large tv but the signal was quite poor and the screen kept freezing.

The place could do with a good clean. I think a family with children had been before us and the dining chair backs and legs were sticky as we're the patio windows to the lounge and a few of the wardrobe doors. The toilet seat in the bathroom was broken as was a seal on the boiler but the owner said he was waiting on parts for those. The jacuzzi bath had seen better days and the nozzles were very yellow and looked unclean so we did not use this The item i need to highlight is this property is on the top floor and there are patio doors in the lounge that open to a false balcony. One door has the lock drilled out so can not be locked! And with coffee tables/ chairs in the same room a child could move these to stand at this rail and watch the trains that pass below. This is very very dangerous. These doors need to have a lock on them so parents will feel secure if they say nip to the bathroom etc. I did bring this to the owners attention.. The beds were very hard which did not suit our party but I understand others may like that, except the one bed on the ground level which appeared to sink in the middle so that guest struggled. Location wise it's a bit out of the centre so too far too walk but there is a bus service nearby. There are no recycling facilities at the property or anywhere nearby so we took empty glass home to recycle, but that is a council problem and not the hosts. The emsuite shower unit is the smallest I have ever used and the bathroom has lots of space so this could be made bigger with a new tray/doors.there is also a train line within feet of this property and some may be disturbed by the noise as they are frequent and operate through the night. Others may like this.

the location was great with easy bus access to and from the city centre. the apartment was spacious and had good amenities.

The mattresses were incredibly firm and not to everyone’s comfort. The apartment was quite cold.

A lift would have been good carrying luggage up three flights of stairs is a issue for people over sixty, this was not mentioned when booking also the noise of train which was a major problem caused us to have sleepless nights this also was not mentioned when booking also the lack of towels and toiletries which we was told by Mohammed that this was a self clean also not mentioned when booking and nothing on any website that i could find. Mohammed was very nice and pleasant but should have been more honest as regards the apartment. The boiler was also leaking and somebody had placed a bowl under it to catch water not good

The owner is very nice and met us at the property and was able to go over everything in the apartment.

Would have loved a manual for the washer/dryer. 😊

Spotless. Great location with easy transport links. Lovely views. Well equipped kitchen.

Getting the keys - due to traffic it took the hosts an hour to get to us. Perhaps a key safe would work well.

The apartment location is ideal for peace and quiet, with some great views and also has 6 different bus routes at the bottom of the road to get you into the city centre for around £5 day pass. There are also pubs and cafes within walking distance

The apartment is advertised as 'sleeps 11' which it does but this is based on people sharing double beds and sleeping in single and pull out beds which for people of our size would have been a struggle

The host was very serviceminded. He helped us with the busses and explained us, how to get in to Princess Street and how to get the lowest ticket prices. He was helpfull.

The matresses was very hard to sleep on.

The views and location

Plenty of space for 2 families and 7 kiddos. Also had everything you need in the kitchen.

Water pressure in the main shower was a bit dodgy and the internet/tele was choppy.
