Gute Lage

Location was very convenient, at walking distance to historical center, place was quite and our room had a small balcony with view on a green small square. The room was spacious, quite and equipped with all what we needed, beds were very comfortable and all furnitures were new. We could use a well equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave and all what you would need for cooking. The staff was very welcoming and helpful and Carlo gave us also good tips for visiting the city. We enjoyed a lot our stay and I can recommend this place to anyone looking for an elegant, peaceful, well maintained accommodation directly in the old Cagliari center. Thanks Carlo for having us in your place.

From time to time the elevator was blocked on a floor and it took some hours to get it running again.

Friendly and accommodating host, super clean property with lovely dining area with the full range of kitchen facilities. Comfortable bed and large nice bathroom. It is in the city centre; there is a big city market and a grocery store a couple of streets away.

finding a parking space is a little of drama

The owner was welcoming and avaliable! The place is clean. Localisation not to far from city center.

The location was spot on, midst in Cagliari center. There was almost never a parking spot, so fortunate we could 'rent' a private garage for 6 euro per day with private access (< 1 minute walk). This was perfect! There was also another parking possibility, little further away for approximately 8 euro per day (if you stayed the whole day). It was convenient (especially with suitcases) there was an elevator, although small, it fits al least 3 grown-ups. Less than 10 minute walk to San Benedetto market, which is a must visit with fresh bread, fruit, ham, cheese, fish (downstairs) if only to experience it. Less than 5 minute away there is a small park with lots of shade from the big trees with a bare minimum of playground facilities, but perfect for our 4 year old. In the street itself there was a newly opened bar/cafe Karalis with very friendly staff, good coffee, sandwiches and a large selection of sweet pastry. Be sure to visit Intenso, our favorite ice cream parlor. When we visited the (very windy - end of October) Poetto beach, we also encountered a larger playground near the beach where there are also a lot of food stalls with big tasty sandwiches (grilled vegetables, sausage). Cala Mosca beach is near, small with lots of seaweed, but out of the wind and nice to play and even swim. Also easy parking late of October. Communication with Carlo the host was quick and we run in to him a couple of times in the neighbourhood. So if we had questions, we could also ask him directly.

The door of the shower jammed a bit, so sometimes we just left it a bit ajar. We would appreciate a little bit more cleaning of the floor or provide a broom to do it ourself.
