The ambiance and the staff and the fact that they offer a women's only dorm with privacy curtains

The location of the hostel is great, being very close to La Rambla and easily accessible from the bus terminal Les Cruces. The rooms are nice, the common area is cozy and warm and the bathrooms are clean.

The breakfast buffét is very basic.

The hostel is in a very safe neighbourhood close to different bars, restaurants and cafés. The ocean and a cute park are also close by. The hostel is very cute and quite modern, including the bathrooms. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The windows are very thin so you could hear everything from the street. Also, from about 7 am we could hear music from the common room and people talking/getting breakfast, since we were right next door.

Fridge at the room was nice! Bikes for rent are really good!

The atmosphere in the hostel was not nice. No vibes at all! No activities organized to create them good vibes. such a missed opportunity! Not enough bathrooms during rush hour..

Awesome place ! social! with great vibes. very cool common area and very well equipped kitchen! the beds have curtains for additional comfort and privacy.! maybe the location is not the best, but on the other hand it is in a very nice neighborhood and super close to the great park and the beach! I would stay there again and recommend

it was the worse experience because of bad roommate ,because she was Ill and even though we paid, she said get lost from this room if we can not handle her cough .we had to choose an other hotel in middle of the night

The hostel is built in a house and gives a homey vive. The beds were comfortable and had privacy with solid curtains.

There was not much of a social atmosphere

Kitchen was good, location was good, staff were friendly, social space was good, always had good music on.

The dorms were very small, not a lot of space to manoeuvre when more than one person needed to use their bag. Other dorm rooms did look roomier, so they don’t seem to all be like that. Only 3 showers and 3 toilets, which are combined, so it’s often hard to get in the shower or use the toilet when you want to.

Everything. A super chill and cozy hostel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is super clean and as far as Hostal go the best bathrooms I've seen in a long time. Comfy living room and equipped kitchen. In all, great place to stay if you're checking out Montevideo.

One of the best hostels! Very spacious and clean bathroom. Comfortable beds with curtain shades. Nice common area, enjoyed my time there, would come again if in the area!

The hostel is located in a very pleasant neighbourhood close to a beach, a beautiful park and plenty of good food places. The receptionist was extremely welcoming and friendly and gave us great recommendations for lunch. The wifi was good and the bunk beds with individual sockets and curtains, really convenient.

The only thing I could criticise was the fact that the female dormitory was downstairs close to the common areas so people hanging out in the living room were using the toilets we had next to our dorm so we had to wait a while sometimes to be able to go or take a shower. That room also picked up a lot of noise from the common area (but at midnight everyone went to bed so it’s not too bad). I’m sure anyone staying in a different dorm would have had a perfect stay.

I was very impressed with this hostel and have already recommended it to travellers I've met along the road. It was very clean, extremely comfortable beds, large rooms, very open and welcoming common areas, it felt so safe and chill I would go back in a hearbeat. The staff was extremely helpful and so sweet, I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. The wifi is great, the breakfast costs extra but it's a good blend of bread, meat, cheese, oats, and fruits. Again, the whole feel of the place is chill, and very respectful, and it's an excellent location, easy to walk wherever you need or want to.
