The host was brilliant, very kind and caring. Breakfast was good with a variety of cereals, teas, coffees and breads. The bed was quite comfortable and the check-in process was smooth as the host already provided us a code of the door.

There was no water in the taps on the day of check-out. The host was very apologetic about this and explained that due to cold weather, the pipes are frozen. Stairs are not comfortable as they are quite inclining.

No milk or butter. So no toast or cereal

Amazing visit

The location was okay, it was about 15 minutes walk from town. Check in process was good and parking was also good.

The staff were rude and unwelcoming. The shower kept running cold water and the drainage was slow so had to keep turning it off to let the water drain out. Continental breakfast turned out to be jam and toast. Only breakfast tea was provided and no alternative milk available.

The management was appalling, and very rude, came into my room whilst i was asleep with a child in my room to turn the tv off because it was apparently too loud, unacceptable behaviour, would not recommend the B&B to anyone. Invading my privacy is out of order

The accommodation was basic but clean. I cannot fault the room and private bathroom provided, especially as the second cheapest available guesthouse in Bicester. The shower was hot and water pressure was good. Unfortunately my party had a bad experience with the staff. At 6pm shortly after arriving, my friend exclaimed "wahey cereal!" when spotting our breakfast options. This resulted in me receiving a message on booking.com threatening "eviction" should we make any more noise. Funnily enough I was awoken quite early the next morning by other guests in the B&B, but perhaps it is only cereal-related excitement at dinnertime that causes eviction. Finally in conclusion, the selection of cereal really was top tier, and well worth the previously mentioned exclamation. If you enjoy silently eating cereal, then this is the guest house for you.

The B&B was clean, comfortable, owner very attentive and accommodating. Good location for our plans.

Breakfast choice was surprisingly very basic. Choose to eat out. Shame about the pub across the road, although the B&B owners cannot be responsible for late night pub noise.

A small hook in the bathroom to hang the flannel or body scub will do.
