property was as listed, very roomy place to spread out. View from decks excellent. Lovely dock by water., We did have to patch a hole in boat to be sure it was safe., Place was very well stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils etc. Enjoyed our stay. would return again.

The house was as described. Our family was able to spread out thankfully because the weather did not cooperate. Communication was instant and requests made were handled right away. Will be back again!

The house was more then we expected. It can easily sleep 10, has a hot tub and sauna, a huge entertainment room with a pool table, foosball table, and a wall sized tv screen. The view of the pond is great. The only complaint is that some of the appliances are less then pristine. We were unable to get either of the gas grills to work. But we still really enjoyed ourselves.

We had a great family getaway for a few days at this property. We were surprised at how big this house/property was. We didn’t need all the space as a family of four, but it had all the amenities that we desired, such as hot tub, sauna, pool table, on the lake, kayaks,… I read all the reviews and they are accurate. This is a great place but could definitely be amazing with a little TLC. The beds are comfortable, the game room lights don’t work properly, but we made the best of it. The hot tub seemed a little dirty (slimey). I wish there were directions (and chemicals) on how it should be cleaned and we would have gladly done it. I did bring some of my own cleaning supplies and I scrubbed the kitchen cabinets (on a rainy day) because they were very greasy/sticky. Overall, if you can get passed some broken furniture outside and focus on the view, you will love your stay. Thank you!

The stay was very nice! The home is spacious and the location can't be beat. The view is beautiful. It's a great relaxing vacation spot. The linens are included and very comfortable and clean. The downstairs sauna is wonderful and a great location nearthe hot tub. It was a very nice stay for a small group of friends.
With that said, the house is not terribly well maintained. There are holes in the drywall and no heat in the bottom two connected bedrooms (there is a loud radiator put in one room). The fans were extremely dirty, the basement shower was not cleaned and had a puddle of dry bodywash stuck to the floor. The dryer does not shut off on its own and you cannot turn it off with controls (we had to leave it open to keep it off).
I did message the host early on to ask about a bed size, but I never got response.
I do recommend this location for a group gathering. There's lots of space and lots to do.

The space and location on the lake are amazing. Could use a little TLC around the property, a book with instructions on things, and a little more stocked with some basics considering what the nightly price comes to. That said great place for a couple of families and would do it again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. The listing was 100% accurate with regards to the numerous amenities. We were quite pleased! A bit of a hiccup at check-in, as the cleaning crew was running late & we were not permitted to check-in for an hour & a half. Once we entered the home, we found it not thoroughly cleaned- many surfaces were still quite dirty. We also did not have good communication with the host before & during our stay, which was disappointing. Otherwise, a lovely home with lots to do in the area!

We chose this property for a getaway for 2 families with children, and we loved the location on the lake and access to kayaks and rowboat so our teen boys could get out and fish as much as they wanted. They house provided PLENTY of space for the kids and adults to spread out, both inside and out. The reason we didn't rate it 5 stars was because there were a number items that were old/damaged that should be replaced, such as the very stained couch in the Pocono room, and broken chairs/chiminea outside that kind of junked up the look and made it less appealing-looking. Also, there was an odor out by the hot tub that made it unpleasant to sit out there, though the hot tub itself looked very clean.

We enjoyed this house for a short week. Our teens and 20’s kids thought the big screen was great. We watched movies into the late night. We had s’mores by the fire, and all day went out on the lake or read on the beach. The only downfall was the cleanliness of the outside grounds and the stickiness inside. I believe they use vinegar to clean or disinfect but tables, counters, nightstands all needed wiped down. We had a clue from the reviews, but like good scouts, we cleaned up ourselves instead of complaining about it all week. Really, the reviews were right on, but the location, amenities, and size of this home trumpt the cleaning issues. We’d come back!

Big house
Let’s start with the positive the house has an amazing game room for teens 13,17and 19 years. The living space is big, kitchen was clean. The hot tub was fantastic. The lake was small but clean. The house could use some up dated and the yard could be cleaner. We did have some issues with air conditioning not working in the bottom two bedrooms. I text owner no reply. The beach area was messed with food wrappers, gloves were in the water, dirty face mask in the grass and old nasty cushions. The boats are made for kids not adults (we had our own so it was fine).We cleaned it up and had a great time. Lots of fish and wildlife. My major issue was on the 4th we were told we could have fireworks from 9 to 11. We Only had colorful ones but security showed up and told us no fireworks allowed. No cleaning supplies available. Overall, we had a great time, the house is spacious. The area is nice not to far and not to close. We would stay there again, just needs to have better upkeep or new clearers for the outside.

The Lake House
The house is situated on a beautiful lake and the view is stunning. However, the home itself is rundown, and not clean. There was a pile of rotten birthday cake behind the couch, missing light bulbs, dusty grease above the stove, a leaky kitchen sink, no sponge, broken furniture, missing pieces of the fridge, summer stuff lying in the yard. It looks like a forgotten home. the pictures do not reflect the actual reality.
We made the best of it, but would not go back to this location. Disappointed.

Dirty- Not what was pictured!
House was unkept, very dirty! There were cob-webs and dead gnats above sink in kitchen, food (whole piece of cake w/icing) on floor in living room area. Broken- blinds, chairs, bed frame(downstairs). Light bulbs out in several rooms. Carpets all stained and torn in areas. Shower downstairs had rust/calcium buildup (on handle used to turn on shower) so bad it costed the handle and had run onto shower floor, 6” area and was greenish in color (unusable). Overall house was large in size, had a nice view, and had potential, but we were disappointed with how it was maintained . We should not have to clean when we arrive….very disappointing.

Large place, but in need of a good upkeep
Wish I read the reviews before, would have brought my own towels with me. Some of the towels were on the beds, but the majority were in the dryer and wet when our group arrived. Furthermore some of them smelled stale and were barely absorbent. The hot tub was nice, but I think there was too much chlorine, washed my hair multiple times and the tips are still smelling. The outside area is beautiful, however it was very messy with wet lifejackets scattered around the place and other minor trash around the property. There was a broken bed downstairs, and one other that was extremely uncomfortable for my friend. Overall the house is quite large and has a lot of cool things, but definitely needs a face lift and better towels.

The house overall was great! Could use a few updates but very clean and right on the water. The beds downstairs could use some repairs and make sure to get your trash to the disposal daily. The owner was very responsive and we enjoyed our girls get away

Wonderful long weekend for special anniversary
Our family of 11 stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our parent's 50th wedding anniversary. The location is beautiful and the house is great. Adequate parking and a nice neighborhood with lots of wildlife visiting. Take some extra towels and TP if you have a large group. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

We were told it was a swimmable lake, it was not, even with swim shoes on!! The home was extremely moldy. Dishwasher was black with mold. Owner replaced it immediately. Couldn't use upstairs bathroom due to mold and 2 of the bedrooms downstairs. Owner kept saying it was not mold, it was paint... Went to store and purchased a mold testing kit that came back positive. We would never recommend this home to another.. blinds were dirty and broken.. all glass sliders were filthy, did offer for someone to come clean, but due to covid we declined.Being with her family was great, but we all agree it would be so much better in a clean home. It makes us wish that we used American Express to pay for this, we would fight the charge. This was not worth almost $5,000 for the week.

The house is in good condition, the views are great and the lake location is fine. The only two things that we had issues was the hot tub was not clean and probably not used for awhile and there was no pedal boat like on the pictures. Jacuzzi inside the house was clean so we used that.

Spacious place for family/kids.
The lake was easy access for the kayaks and the row boat. The dock and the decks were so nice. The beach was great for kids to go swimming and play in the lake. It was quiet and the property was private. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub. The guest pass for the garbage place is on the windowsill.
There were no oars for the rowboat. The washer took a LONG TIME to run a cycle. Bring paper towels and TP. Bring firewood. The TVs and remotes were tricky to figure out, no instructions. The lights were also tricky. We had to get propane for the grill.
Our family had a wonderful relaxing time.

The area under the deck was dirty with debris, beer cans etc. My husband repaired a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink. TVs in every room with many remotes and no instructions. We never did figure how to use them. No Welcome binder with household hints and recommendations. It was the first time we left a house without cleaning because there wasn't anything to clean with. No dust pan etc. Also guests are responsible for their garbage removal. The positives were we felt completely comfortable, the view was fabulous, very safe area, wildlife, deer ate out of our hands, fishing, game room, fire pit, outdoor furniture and beach was perfect for the kids. Indoor and outdoor spaces provided plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. Even with the issues we had a fabulous vacation.

Beautiful view, large house
It’s a 5 bedroom house but only 2 bathrooms. Keep that in mind if you will be a large group. The carpet needs replacing. There was no top sheet on any bed. The game room is great, kitchen well stocked with equipment, nice decks, boats & paddles to use on the pond ( not a lake), tv in every room if you’re into that. The hot tub was great. We had no idea how to use the movie theater set up. Overall good enough.

The property was so much bigger than it looked! There was plenty of room and outside lounging space. The only issues we had was with the neighbors setting off fireworks at 4:00am right next to our house and not being able to drop the trash off because the office was closed and they wouldn’t let us dump without a guest pass. The owner was amazing and told us to just leave it and he would take care of it!!

Not Quite What is Pictured
First off, we had a very nice stay and the owner was very responsive. This house has some great amenities and the games were a hit. The hot tub was fun for the kids but didn't appear to have been cleaned. We had to clean the outside of the property to use it. There was broken glass, trash, cigarettes, a broken chiminea, and chairs in the pond when we arrived. The kitchen was poorly appointed (no spices, limited pans, oven racks don't fit the oven), the washer and dryer did not work/were moldy, and transporting the trash to the dump was an adjustment. The house needs some updates to fix broken tiles, a dishwasher that sounds like a cement mixer, carpets in rough shape. Bedrooms are comfortable, TVs in every room, great deck space, decent fire pit, nice sauna, lots of seating, and movie room made this a fun stay.
