15 Charles Abbotsford Homestay is “hell on earth”. I stayed at 15 Charles Homestay from 21/04/2024 to 03/05/2024. This was the worst home stay experience ever in my entire travel life. This place was filthy, there was urine on the toilet seat, on the floor - unhygienic and disgusting. I slept on the dirty bedsheet for the whole time as they never changed it. My room was next to the wooden stair and when people walked up and down this stair making loudly noises it woke me up every few minutes. I ask you Booking.com how would this place be qualified to launch their advertising on your website? Not only this their housekeeper was very rude: he gave me no reminder check-out time then said to me “you’re late, pay me $10 cash” and then charged another $10 cash while I attempted to quickly boil a bowl of water to cook my instant noodle. I said to him if you need $10 I can give this to you but stop being nasty to me or otherwise I will post it on internet. He then pointed his finger at my face and threatened and intimidated me, using language such as “f**k your Asian country”. Since leaving this homestay I have been suffering from being abused so badly. I told my son what happened to me, and I cried about this traumatic. I did not know that people can treat others this poorly. I want Booking.com to contact me to discuss this issue and inform me what actions they will take about this complaint. Very affordable. Close to public transport. Nice and clean. Good value for money.

Nothing to complain about really. Got everything I paid for, Host was very comunicative and getting in to the room was very easy.

La localisation est très bonne d’autant plus pour le prix de la chambre : L'établissement est facile à rejoindre depuis le train (station de North Richmomd à quelques centaines de mètres à pieds). Un centre commercial (avec un Aldi) permet de faire ses courses à proximité pour pas trop cher. En plus il y a un petit parc à 5 minutes à pied dans Park street pour se détendre ou faire un peu d’exercices physiques. Enfin, et non des moindres, c’est une localisation optimale pour visiter le centre-ville de Melbourne.

L'établissement est certes très propre avec un ménage quotidien, mais il y a des choses qui devraient être corrigées à mon sens : problèmes de bruit ( la porte d'entrée, la TV jusque tard dans la soirée, les escaliers et planchers qui craquent), des vrais meubles dans les chambres ( et non en plastiques de style camping) ou encore des petits travaux d'intérieurs sont nécessaires dans la chambre. J’ai aussi trouvé dans un placard à mon arrivée des restes de nourriture heureusement non périssables et non consommées d’un ancien occupant….Si vous en avez la possibilité, demandez aussi plutôt une chambre à l'étage.

None, all was great as always.

My stay was perfect in this property. It was clean fresh air. Free Netflix, cheap laundry, cheap dinner free tea or coffee. Perfect location lots of nice restaurant, cafe and bars around the corner.

I like everything especially free Netflix.
