My wife and I, along with my 5yo son and 7mo daughter really enjoyed our stay. The house was accurately represented and the host is responsive. The space is tight, especially the bedrooms, but the most is made of the space available and we don't mind the coziness. Not having a dishwasher was not that much of an inconvenience and we cooked and ate all our meals at the house with the well supplied kitchen.

This was our first family vacation to Lake Gaston and it did not disappoint! The property is perfect for relaxing, fishing, swimming, and having nighttime fires! The inside views were what you see on postcards and i am definitely going to miss having morning coffee in the sun room watching the sunrise! The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need and very close to all stores and shops! We can’t wait to make quail shores a yearly tradition! Thanks for making our first vacation one time remember!

The property was beautiful, extremely clean and well decorated, and the views of the lake from the front room and porch were unmatched. Communication with the owners was very easy and they always responded quickly, they truly did all they could to make us feel at home during our stay. We could not have asked for a better vacation, I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Our stay here was lovely! Nice and quiet property with great lake access for launching our kayaks. The beds were comfy, though the box springs were quite squeaky when you moved. Overall, it was a lovely little place we'd gladly stay at again!

My husband and I enjoyed staying here. He loved the dock and the boat lift for his fishing boat. I loved the sunroom for relaxing with my favorite book and enjoying the beautiful lake scenery! Bedrooms are a little small but we slept in one and used the other for our suitcase. Thank you Jacob for allowing us to stay!

This lake house is awesome. It is very well maintained and has all the accommodations that you'll need for a relaxing time. The view of the lake is amazing, even from inside the house. The outdoor seating is plentiful and is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Although the host has a few fishing poles for use, I found them in need of replacement. Be sure to bring your own tackle/bait as I didn't see any (I could have overlooked it though). I look forward to planning another trip out here in the near future!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! They were super response and helpful when we needed assistance with an unforeseen plumbing issue- got it taken care of on a Saturday!! They even allowed us to stay an extra night for the inconvenience. We were very impressed and thankful. We will absolutely stay here again. The view from the sunroom is everything we wanted and more! We sat out there all day. The bedrooms are small and wouldn’t fit a pack n play or even your suitcase very well. It was perfect for two of us as we could put our suitcase on the other bed in the second bedroom. The bathroom is not a shower/tub combo, just a standing shower. It was very nice and roomy! One thing we didn’t know before arriving- you can bring your own casting device for the tv in the sunroom. We would’ve loved to have been able to do that. The kitchen was well stocked and all paper products provided. An absolutely fantastic place!! Perfect for a romantic getaway, and would be fun for a small family in the summer time too.

Cottage is nicely furnished appointed on a beautifully landscaped lot on the lake. The location is very quiet and relaxing.

The property was amazing. My boys enjoyed fishing from the kayaks while still near the dock. The house was also great. The bed were not our preference but we still had a great time.

This house is so well appointed and every detail has been thought of! Beautifully updated and you can tell the owners have put a lot of thought and care into this property! We loved floating by the dock, fishing, and we brought our boat so spent many hours out tubing. S’mores and a fire at night on the patio. One of the very best views I’ve seen on Lake Gaston from the super comfortable back porch. Jacob was always immediately responsive with any questions we had. Thanks so much for a great weekend! Hope to stay longer next time!!

We really enjoyed our stay! The home is perfectly situated and offered wonderful views of the main lake. The home is charing and was very clean! Communication with Jacob Williamson was excellent! We will definitely be staying here again!

Fantastic property on the lake! The cozy home was a great retreat for our family of 4. We fished from the docks, enjoyed the pedalboat, and loved the stunning lake views from the front porch. We are already discussing a return trip! Property manager was excellent and easy to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay!

Our family had a great vacation and the house worked well for us. It was close for anything we needed and has a great view of the lake. It was nice to use the dock for our boats and plenty of parking space. We like to grill and the place has a very nice grill for use. I hope we can rent the place again in the future.

Small but beautifully decorated (way to go, Jacob's mom) and with a great open water view! We enjoyed the water toys and vehicles generously available and we got good food from the Pointe restaurant but DO NOT GO IN THERE because tables are packed together and cooks and waiters do not wear masks and social distance, so we ordered takeout from them and enjoyed the cabin's lovely outdoor seating area.

Owner was very easy to work with and quick to respond.

Our week ended up being a complete wash out but it is a testament to the greatness of this rental that we still had a great time. This is one of the nicest rentals we've stayed in. Great views, wonderful amenities and two of the most comfortable beds that anyone could ask for. Cheers to the Williamson family!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our family and It was easy getting to the dock. I was worried that I wouldn’t feel like I was on vacation but the beautiful outdoor areas and pretty plants made me feel like I was at a resort. The owners are generous with sharing lake floats and corn hole boards. I will warn that the beds take up the entire room so don’t plan on setting up a pack-n-play. We put ours in the living room and it was fine bc the porch was an area where we could hangout and watch tv if the baby was sleeping. It didn’t bother us a bit. We will definitely be back! Wonderful place!

My husband and I rented to property for a short vacation. Home had everything we needed! It was very clean and perfect for us. We brought our boat so the private boat dock/house/boat lift was just what we needed. I loved sitting out in the sunroom in the mornings as I was still having to work remotely while there and the beautiful view eased my pain :) We will definitely be renting again!
