We were here for the second year in a row and again it was perfect. We stayed in the penthouse which gave us the most beautiful view over the city and the sea. Demar is the perfect place to relax as it is such a quiet and comfortable place.

The facilities at this hotel are exceptional, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The cleanliness and style of the property is fantastic. Breakfast is carefully presented and prepared. The pool area is spacious and provides towels.

The air conditioning was slightly noisy/could be more efficient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Demar. The rooms were excellently appointed, spacious, very clean and comfortable with direct access to the sun loungers and pool. The owner and staff could not have done more for us during our stay. Breakfasts were delicious. We were able to park immediately outside our room. Zadar old town is very attractive and historically interesting, but a good half hour walk away, however, a shared taxi back was very reasonable. Would recommend the restaurant ‘Mama Mia’ a few streets away from the hotel.

The Wi-Fi signal was quite weak but this did not spoil a very pleasant stay.

The room was clean. That's it. The rest was appalling.

This was our last stay in Croatia and it was the place we were looking forward to most after seeing the reviews. I paid extra for an upgraded room with a balcony. What we got certainly did not include a balcony. The bed was two beds pushed together and we could feel the crease making the night's sleep poor. However, the worst experience came when checking out. The room had a mini bar which we used for two sparkling waters. When checking out I was told the items had to be paid by cash. I told the staff member that we only had loose change and did not have enough but we were happy to pay by card. I gave all I had and was short by about 6 Kuna (68 pence). The staff member then got rude and demanded the rest. I explained that I had a taxi waiting for me to take me to the airport that I was about to miss but she kept on insisting despite me explaining that nowhere said anything about cash only. Ultimately, I had to leave and I almost missed my taxi which was running late anyway. This could have caused me to miss my flight... Over 68 pence. I am appalled at the whole experience and I certainly would never stay here again.

Excellent hotel with beautiful rooms and bathrooms.

The design is wonderful: modern and minimal style. The direct connection to the swimming pool was really appreciated. Rooms are very well equipped, absolutely nothing is missing!

Not a lot of traffic but you can hear the cars driving quite fast on the road adjacent to the hotel.
