Calm, quiet, excellent pool and brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was to die for - Loads of different continental options with regional products. The Quinta is situated close to Castelo de Vide e Marvão which are lovely places to visit, however is in a remote enough location for it to feel like a break from a busy life.

Wonderful stay in a peaceful location and photographic directions from Emanuela were brilliant so it was easy to find. The room was more than adequate with efficient air conditioning and a reasonably comfortable bed. The pillows held their shape, which was a bonus as so many hotels have pillows so soft that you get no support whatsoever. A a nice bright bathroom with good plumbing and plenty of towels! Great breakfast with good choice and nothing was too much trouble. Maybe slightly hotter coffee would have been good but that was a minor thing. We were given the use of a large guest fridge and kitchen and welcome to put leftover breakfast in there to eat later for lunch. A lovely touch. Nothing was too much trouble. The night sky was breathtaking as the levels of light pollution were kept low...loved that! Lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds, and an outdoor covered sitting room. Truly lovely staff with a guest focus and nice owners who popped round to make sure guests were welcomed and happy.

The hosts need to install some hooks in the bathroom as there is nowhere to hang clothing you want to take in with you so your only option is to hang them on the floor! Beware you work out how to use the shower before turning on the taps. The pressure is fantastic but if you don't know what you're doing that isn't always a good thing.

The facilities and the staff were very good, as well as the breakfast.

A beautiful quinta in a beautiful setting . The pool was gorgeous , room clean and comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional . Emanuela was a brilliant hostess and nothing was too much trouble . I sat outside in the warmth of the night and looked at the stars . It was wonderful .

I couldn’t find it at first . It is miles from anywhere then I got lost returning to the property at night . After buying a Portuguese sim card for my ipad there were no problems .

Very helpfull and kindly staff. Top accomadation. Breakfast was top. Very clean ans silent place.

Problem with wifi internet connection but was technical problem waiting to be solved.
