Very comfortable house (for lounging and sleeping) with amazing views of the surrounding scenery and wildlife. Mornings were often spent bird watching while eating breakfast. Fully equipped kitchen with all basics provided; the owner obviously likes cooking! Great WiFi connection, reliable and fast. Comprehensive information provided in the welcome book and lots of tourist leaflets available to help spur ideas for activities. House is ideally located for complete relaxation and to take advantage of all the highlights of Verstarålen and the Lofoten islands. The drives are worth it for the 360 picture postcard views. Keep your eyes peeled for moose, we saw 4 and a herd of wild reindeer. I booked this as a treat for my Dad's 70th birthday. It exceeded his expectations. Northern Norway is absolutely breathtaking We didn't want to leave, would thoroughly recommend!

There was nothing I didn't like, others might not appreciate its remote location, but that was the whole purpose of our stay, to switch off from the outside world. No people, no skyscrapers just gorgeous scenery and wildlife at every turn.

- big house, well equipped - northern lights room - distance to sea = 50m - we saw birds, an otter and an elk around the house and sea eagles and seals "around the corner" at Buksnesfjorden, Forfjorden also not far away for northern light pictures

- kind of complicated house rules, but at least the file with rules helped - no fire wood provided (but not exactly expensive) - as there is no personal on-site, you have to take care about snow yourself (shovel, etc. is available)
