The position Is close to the centre
The studio was not cleaned. The sofà was really dirty and also the floor and the dishes were not clean

The outside of the building didn’t seem very welcoming but then we were really surprised by this nice appartement. Right in the center, we weren’t bothered by the passing cars like other guests before us. Everything was clean and as described.
The shower could be replaced and the bunk beds were squeaking. It tends to wake you up as soon as somebody moves. But nothing really serious to say about our stay.

It was extremely loud - from inside and outside. Directly on main street. Impossible to sleep.

Steinaskól Apartments
The apartment is on the first floor of an older commercial building at the crossroads opposite the Hof Culture Center. The city center can be reached quickly on foot. The traffic didn't bother us.
Parking in the yard.
The apartment is generously designed, bright and neatly furnished. The kitchen stove is a bit tricky. Kitchen equipment ok. Good beds.
Unfortunately, the entire apartment makes a worn and partly dirty impression, e.g. the sofa and the balcony furniture.
A more careful maintenance would make the apartment shine! We still felt good!
The entryway of the house looks very neglected... Grease is leaking from a kitchen exhaust chimney.

the property is good very near in down town and the restaurant
as i look the entrance is not good as very clean the stairs is not clean

Building needs renovation. Stairs outside in need cleaning. All in all ok for the trip.

the shower was pretty weak but fortunately Akureyri has the best swimming pool.

Great location. comfortable space. Near The city Central and across the street is the beautiful ocean.
the only complaint it the bathroom sink kept backing up.

The balcony was fantastic. We saw the northern lights from it... ... couldn't get any more convenient
A few more hooks for hanging coats towels etc would be helpful. The shower curtain either needs a good bleaching or replacing.

Central location with facilities such as washing machine and dryer and kitchen.
No sound proofing. Floor creak really badly and washing machine was so noisy and shook the kitchen floor. Could hear the neighbours too and am sure they could hear us.

Lovely apartment in every way.
The washer/dryer was too small. A larger washer/dryer, or two separate machines would be greatly appreciated!

Good locality, in the middle of the city, very close to bakeri, shops. Clean, well-equipped apartment. Free public parking at the weekend and between 16:00-10:00. Free and good wifi connection.

I did not get the code to collect the keys and had to call the host. The cubboards were not clean and there were several lightbulbs missing.

ex location and spacious
needs a good clean, we accidentally dropped something behind the sofa and it was not very pleasant lifting the sofa up 🥴 it would also be nice to get more utensils in the kitchen.

Small things like hooks for the towels would add to comfort.

Great location, with a lovely view of the port and water. The place was clean and the host was easy to reach if needed.

Good location, excellent value for money. Very helpful host.
The shower tray didn’t drain properly. The kitchen was a bit under equipped - no sieve. The decor was rather stark - no pictures on the walls.
