This place was beautiful, the lady that runs it was so lovely and accommodating!
The cooked breakfast was great, it was a great location to the slopes and into town!
The beds were incredibly comfy, the rooms were clean and facilities all worked great.
There is a snowboard/ski rack in the lobby as well as a great working dry room!

Aigakusou was an amazing place to stay at when visiting Nozawa. The host was very lovely and accommodating to all guests and provided a wonderful breakfast. The facilities were everything you could need as well and the common room offered some extra space. We would definitely return to Aigakusou!

I loved lodge Ai Gaku So! We stayed there for a month with a group of good friends and the owner Akiko san was incredibly hospitable and friendly and went well out of her way to make our stay memorable. We can’t wait to come back next year! Facilities were gorgeous and the location was perfect a short walk from town.

Location is about a 5-10 minute walk straight down the street from the main drag. Very basic yado with a very kind and hardworking old lady who runs everything. She let us check in early, helped explain how to get around town, and was available for our requests. Very accomodating.

Onsen is very close.

The host is very accommodating and friendly, we enjoyed our stay very much.
The location is close to one of the lifts which connects to the main gondola, one of the free onsens is also less than 3 mins walk.

The host was very warm and welcoming. The bathroom had a cute little onsen bath to relax in, a very nice surprise after a big day of skiing. The location was a short walk from the main center of town but close enough to a chairlift on the side of the mountain, which we rode to the top then skied down to the main gondola and a cafe breakfast every morning.
