Everything about our stay was perfect and far exceeded our expectations. The view is spectacular, the beds and rooms were very comfy and the location is perfect to visit Mossman Gorge and the Daintree. Mandy and Chris were so informative about the local area and were incredibly accommodating throughout the trip. Don’t hesitate to book here!

quiet location, close to Mossman Gorge. Attractive garden with a small walk, Ensuited room, even swimming towels included.

Hostess rather obsessive about indoor and outdoor shoes. Even when my husband c when my husband changed into soft soled sandals he got a reprimand If the hostess wishes to run a Japanese style house, then she needs to provide more seating at the front door, and appropriate footwear. We felt rather too supervised for the first couple of hours. The upstairs level, where we stayed, is full of stuff, which is all a bit dusty. It needs decluttering.

Very congenial hosts, lots of tips and good advice about the immediate area and beyond. The facilities and breakfast are just excellent, totally connected with the rainforest and bird life. Lots of interesting memorabilia and everything has a story!!

Chris was an amazing host, above and beyond! Property was beautiful and felt like home, breakfast was outstanding and location sensational. Do yourself a favour and book, exceptional value!

3rd time lucky as Mandy said, we are so glad that we were fortunate enough to be able to stay here. I thoroughly enjoyed my conversations with Mandy, it was like meeting an old friend! The property was home away from home and the hosts made it very evident. It was so inspiring to hear their story and their journey over the years. Every thing in the house has been placed with much care and love. The breakfast was amazing and the view was breathtaking. The home was super clean and beautiful, much more than the pictures. :) The property is cosily tucked in with such great views and a peaceful neighbourhood. Gorge is 5 min drive and Pt Douglas is close too. 200% recommend this place and Mandy if I come back, I would come just to have breakfast with you on the balcony and have long conversations! :) Thank you for making our trip memorable, This is just the beginning. <3

Absolutely nothing!

We were very welcomed at the homely bed and breakfast, and the view of their beautiful tropical plants with the background of the mountain ranges was stunning. We had that view for breakfast, and from a huge window in our room. The breakfast was beautiful, and the hosts were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. The location is perfect for seeing Mossman Gorge and the wider Daintree area. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved the location and view, and being in a proper house surrounded by rainforest. Chris purview a great brekky on the deck and this was good value.

Everything !! Amazing property backing on to the rainforest with stunning views and lots of birds ….. Lots of outdoor and indoor spaces to relax and enjoy . Friendly and helpful hosts . Thank you Mandy for your attention to every detail . Delicious continental breakfast . Lovely comfortable and clean room .

Tastefully furnished to suit its location right in the rainforest.

Be prepared for the sounds of a rainforest (earplugs for me😀) at night and a few mozzies but these minor compared to beauty of the home and it’s location.

The house was very pleasant and the surroundings were delightful a very good set up

We felt that we didn’t enjoy the stay as much as we anticipated we felt there were too many dos and don’t‘s from the owner and although the breakfast was delightful ,felt it was over the top ,and with too many explanations,on what was on the table,We would’ve preferred just having a buffet ,I know you can’t please everybody but it didn’t suit us.

The location was truly magical, it was so relaxing to be amongst nature and listening to the sounds of wildlife falling asleep. Mandy was an exceptional host and even made home made croissants and jams for breakfast, which were very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it!

The house’s incredible, with a comfy bedroom, very cool swim pool, a beautiful view from the balcony, delicious homemade brekkie and the most cute dog ever: cute Pepper. And the owners, Mandy and Chris, are just adorable!
