The bathroom was always warm, there was adequate living space with a nice balcony and view of the mountains. Jovenceaux is a beautiful village, and very quiet. The staff were very responsive and the apartment was left in a clean and orderly state. The kitchen was tiny, but well equipped.

The kitchen was compact with no workspaces to prep food. The heating was not adequate to heat the whole apartment, mainly due to the balcony doors which aren’t very efficient at retaining heat. Jovenceaux is a lovely old and well restored alpine village, it has very few amenities though and is better suited to people who arrive by car, we arrived by train and local bus from Oulx. There is a private bus service door-to-door at cost of €2 per person each way, it ends around 6pm though, the walk to and from Sauze d'Oulx isn't suitable for anyone but the hardy.

Everything needed to make stay easy. Washing up liquid, coffee tea etc. Extra blankets pits pans etc No milk though and supermarket in main town. Nice and comfortable just make sure you read instructions for heating and hot water. Heating or air con can be noisy at night.

A steep 20 minute walk to Sauze d'Oulx. Good for access to ski lift albeit a bit hilly. No WiFi in the room have to go to reception. It's described as rustic but I would prefer a more modern decor. It looks like someone's permanent residence with all their ornaments and stuff.

It is an apartment so comes with extras you don't get in an hotel.

The bed is 2 single mattresses put together, and they were a little hard for our comfort, the heating works well but is a bit noisy at night. The shower cubicle is very small.
