The place is quite and good for rest

There was too much mosquitoes

The breakfast was good. The location is a bit trick, the loction map will lead you to another property. Quite embarasing. And it is too far from the city centre.

The place is so dry not much is being done to maintain the outside appearance. That is the lawn the flowers and the whole outside garderning.

David was an amazing host for us, making sure we felt at home, cooking a braai and helping us arrange our trips for the various activities we wanted to do as well. Full of advice and help at all times, thank you David!

Can be a bit tough to find on Google maps as the exact house isn’t clear. Think some of the rooms in the process of being redone

The very best host one can imagine. Extremely helpful in all matters, also organizing tours. Great company and I enjoyed our evening talks over a glas of wine. Lovely place, spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast has all you can want for.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with and personal. Allowed me to hang an extra hour or so as I needed wifi for work.

Location is terrible if driving. Burnside surburb is riddled with potholes and its numerous turns before you get to the property. All roads with potholes except the main Hillside Road from town. Their automatic gate does not have a sensor. It closed on my car as I was driving and now i have an expensive dent and scratch to fix. The staff did not alert me of this danger, so I was very upset all they could say is sorry. There is no warning anywhere. Place needs a modern touch I did not feel quite at home as it's too retro. Had a second night booking a day later and I turned up hooting for ages on the gate with no intercom well before the 8pm checkin deadline and the owner was not answering their mobile. Seemed to me they had double booked and were avoiding me. He was in touch more than an hour later apologised but made no offer to make amends of find out if I had manage to get accommodation knowing I booked this ages ago and I was a traveller passing by. Had to seek lastminute accommodation very late in an unfamiliar place which was a great inconvenience. I know the place is way cheaper so I guess you get what you pay for but in future I would avoid booking here given my experience. It might be good for others but just stating my experience. This gamble certainly didn't pay off.
