The staff at the hotel was absolutely wonderful - from airport pickup to coordinating trips and tuk-tuks to working the restaurant - amazing! The grounds and ambience truly enhanced the Cambodian experience. And the pool was gorgeous. The location is easy to access the downtown (5 min/$2) and 20 min to Angkor Wat (recommend booking through the hotel).
While we were very comfortable, the rustic feel may not be ideal for everyone. It’s really not too rustic. Breakfast was very good, not great.

We loved everything about this place! The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful—always with beautiful smiles! The resort is like a beautiful garden.
We were lucky to have our room upgraded to a villa with pool, though all the rooms (villas) looked lovely.
The restaurant had good food for decent prices.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The grounds are beautiful
Many insects, unsafe walkways, aged and lacking maintenance.
We booked 4 nights at the Authentic Khmer Village resort advertised as a 5 stars hotel. It was also more expensive than a lot of other 5 stars hotels in siem reap. We mistakenly believed that the 5 star claim with a higher cost implied a higher lever of comfort. We booked a 2 bedroom villa with a private pool.
The resort outside is beautiful like the pictures but the villa smelled of mildew, the beds were extremely hard, the shower had no door or curtain and was very dim, without privacy. There were bugs, spiders, and mosquitoes inside the room as well. The room ceiling has cobwebs and mold/ water damage cracks. We were very concerned over the amount of mosquitos and bugs as it is known to be an area with endemic diseases carried by mosquitos.
The bridges and elevated walkways around the resort are not gated and many planks were cracked which is not safe for our young children.
We spoke to the manager asking for a cancelation of the next 3 nights and a refund, because the hotel was not a good fit for us both in terms of safety and comfort.
The manager said he checked with the owner, he would not refund us but offered to switch us to a different room. When we visited the other villa, there was the same problems of bugs and mildew smell... not the comfort we expected for the price we paid.
We stayed another night but again didn't feel safe or comfortable. So we decided to check out anyhow losing our money.
In the end we moved to the Park Hyatt and had a truly amazing five star experience for an actually lower nightly rate.
This is a fine hotel so long as you are expecting a camping cabin/bungalow type experience, not a resort, and there are many better hotels for less in the area.
It was a disappointment because we usually choose hotels which make a fusion of nature and luxury but this one failed.

Very private, rustic, very authentic, we received a free upgrade which was amazing. All staff were very helpful. Chanthy went the extra mile and always offered guidance and support. We have stayed in hotels all around the world and I have to say Chanthy is by far the best at providing quality customer service and amazing hospitality, he needs a pay rise !!!!!
Only thing I would say is the breakfast selection isn’t the best.

The property was beautiful and well kept! Our villa had its own private pool and jacuzzi. We loved the privacy that we had and it felt like we were in our own home. The best part about our stay was the villa staff. They went above and beyond in their service. The staff packed us to-go breakfast for our early excursion to Angkor Wat at 4am, served dinner from the on-site restaurant to our rooms, and coordinated all transportation for us. Their service was quick and they were willing to make any request feasible. We were truly impressed by how friendly, accommodating, and polite everyone was. We hope to stay here again! We loved it!

The villas are exceptionally well laid out and perfectly cleaned. The plunge pool is worth the extra money. The massage platform in the middle of the lotus garden was heavenly. Great landscaping with brass elephants. Staff is absolutely wonderful. Rooms have all the amenities. Nice rustic yet comfortable feel.
My only criticism is that the food prices are a little high for what we received. The lunch and dinner items are well prepared but don’t justify the cost compared to other options. You pay for the convenience. Breakfast was excellent.

The staff was superb (all staff, from reception; to restaurant and room service). Dinner and breakfast were amazing..
They arranged for us an excellent guided tour of the Angkok temples and the private transport from/to hotel.
Upon arrival, we were suprised with an upgrade to a pool villa: magnificent.
We strongly recommend this resort for Siem Reap visitors
Nothing. Everything was beyond perfect

it was not a brand new resort, but all the staff were so supportive and helpful. when I needed a low bed for my baby, they brought it directly and set it up. the service level was spot on.
breakfast can be refilled as much as I want but I wish the menu can be more various.

Great concept, funky & fun elephant trunk shower, comfy bed, lovely-lovely staff, awesome bar & private if you close the curtains & so nice to have a private pool.
It should not hold a 5 star rating. It’s tired, nails are sticking up & out of the walkway. It’s dangerous to walk the main walkway as the floor boards are cracked & just don’t look safe! The finish on the wood is old, flaking & missing in some parts. The sliding doors have slid one too many times & don’t close properly, it just doesn’t feel that safe. The main pool-as beautiful as it is-was a bit milky looking. It seemed to need a bit of ‘shock’ or more chlorine. It also has a lot of standing water, which is part of the concept as it appears to be built on a swamp, & the area has mosquitoes according to the CDC site I checked. So ?

A really wonderful stay. We were upgraded to a bungalow with a private jacuzzi outdoors. The accomodation felt really unique and authentic.
Staff were lovely and accomodating, especially Mr T., who met us after our long car ride with cold towels and a drink.
Pool was huge and clean with water features of elephants with water coming out of their trunks.
The bathroom in the bungalow was really special as well as it featured a elephant head rainfall shower.
Bed was a little hard, but it was huge.
A long way to walk between the entrance and the bungalow.
A bit hard to contact front desk, were given a small mobile phone which did have any credit on it to make calls.

A tranquil oasis in Siam Reap, 5 min by tuktuk from the city centre. The staff is absolutely amazing.
We had the villa with 2 bedrooms and a private pool. We instantly fell in love with the resort.
Breakfast was perfectly suited for our taste: fresh fruit, eggs freshly prepared to personal taste, toast, pastry, jogurt, Müsli, ham and cheese, orange and pineapple juice and excellent coffee.
Not much to complain about. The lights inside the bedrooms could be a bit brighter for our taste.
4.0
Concept of the resort, that of a floating village, greenery, and the overall layout of the property
Breakfast options are limited, and there's noise when someone is moving their luggage on the wooden walkway.

A boutique hotel in authentic style situated in a beautiful greenery. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was good. Nice and clean pools. All was very clean.

The staffs were very helpful and caring, Samdy and T to mention a few.
Food at the restaurant was excellent too, though the menu is little limited.
Arrangements for tours and visits were spot on.

What an absolute gem in Siem Reap. The hotel was fabulous, we stayed in Villa Coconut which was secluded and we even had our own private pool as well as 2 palm trees growing up through our bedrooms and out the roof, it was an on-the-ground treehouse! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and always on hand to answer any questions. It was slightly out of the centre of Siem Reap, so away from all the hustle and bustle but also just a very quick (and cheap) tuk-tuk ride away. We loved staying here, it was a real treat!

Seriously JUST STAY HERE. The whole place is amazing. The best part is the hotel is different. It is a unique hotel with individual bungalows surrounded by or over their large "pond" The walkways are all over water. I thought it was going to be way out of town to get the great rural village feel, but it was a 15 minute walk or 2 minute tuk tuk ride to the center of town. The whole place is kept immaculate. It has an amazingly good free breakfast, huge pool (for the kids), location is a short walk or even shorter tuk tuk ride to center of town.
The entire staff is friendly and helpful.
They upgraded my room for free!
I could not have been any happier with the whole experience.
The water in our private pool attached to our bungalow was pretty cold because there is an roof that keeps it out of the sun all day, but my kids still used it. And, the room was upgraded for free to include the private pool. And even if we didn't use it, it was very pretty to look at.

An oasis of tranquility and beauty conveniently located. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming - they went above and beyond to help us out, make arrangements from trips and any question we had. A remarkable experience and would recommend to travellers.

Lovely set-up. We had the 3 bedroom house with pool. It was big with 3 en suites and a living room with mini fridge. We had welcome bubbles and fresh fruit. Nespresso machine was a nice touch. The pool was lovely and huge and deep. The boardwalks through the property were lovely and it was a very peaceful place (less so with our arrival!). The breakfast was good, the coffee excellent. The main pool was great too and wrapped around the restaurant. All the staff were helpful and the owner was charming and attentive. A tuk-tuk into town took 5 mins and to the temples, 15. The kids loved it. Highly recommended.
Everything was good.
Minor quibbles: our bed was a little hard and a couple more surfaces to put things on in the living room and bedroom would have been useful.

Amazing resort we HIGHLY recommend.
Actually we cant define it as a "resort" but as a "village" : there is no promiscuity, there is space between each villa and each client has privacy in his villa.
Staff is very kind, smiling and helpful : always keen to recommend shops/restaurants/places, to book taxi/tuk-tuk, to get information on our behalf, to book tickets, to book scooters or electrical bicycles....
Resort is stunning : beautiful villas surrounded by luxuriant vegetation (most of the villas have their own pool or jacuzzi) ; common pool is huge, clean and very nice ; resort is very quiet
Breakfast : is included in the deal, allows you to choose between local and westerns dishes, with different squeezed fruit juice every day ; you can choose between taking your breakfast in your villa or in the restaurant (which is surrounded by the pool) ; quantities are huge ; service is great
Restaurant : a la carte menu proposes you Cambodian dishes and western dishes ; service is efficient and fast
Wifi : efficient, good quality . In few days, we experienced a couple of wifi outage but problem has been solved within 10 minutes
Resort is located 8km far from Angkor Temples. It could be considered as a bit far but it is very easy to get a tuk tuk, rent a scooter or a electrical bicycle and going there ... So it is not really an issue.

Beautiful setup with nice pools. Loved the floating bungalow astethic, scenery and gardens. Friendly staff. Fruit in room on arrival and decent breakfast.
I feel this is overpriced for what you get; we booked the bungalow with Jacuzzi and hand ants crawling all through shower tiles. Cigarette butt under our bed on arrival and remained there for our stay. Mosquitos running rampart (but expected from being surrounded by water). Asked owner if he could get out tv working and he joked 'why would you need one on holiday', which is fair enough but it remained unfixed despite being listed as ammenitiy.
