Enjoyed watching the sea turtles from the balcony, even though the weather was not the best.

The view was awesome in this VRBO. Was easy to find and get into at check in. Unit is quaint and quiet. Cooking anything was pretty Much non existent unless you used their microwave or their electric skillet. Lots of pots and pans but nothing to use them on. Food trucks up the road were a life saver. Turtle Bay resort up the road also a must. Loved the place otherwise and would come back again.

We enjoyed very much our stay. Being right on the ocean with a deck and view was wonderful. Amazing sunrises. The home is adequate. A few strange things like the kitchen sink not in the kitchen and quite a few cooking pans but no way to cook. Not even a hotplate. There is an electric skillet. Fu sized refrigerator was nice. The home is a short druve to the Polynesian Cultural Center where we enjoyed a wonderful time.

We loved sitting on the balcony to watch the sunrise every morning. The host was so friendly and helpful. We definitely want to return.

Location and place are beautiful! Hosts are super kind as well and even brought us some amazing dinner one of the nights. It’ll be a go-to spot from now on!

Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner. She was awesome! The house small and quaint, views spectacular. Lack of kitchen cookware does put limits on meals, if you are planning on staying in. Fridge is now full size! House was clean, deck was small but offered AMAZING views and sounds... double glass sliding doors open to allow the ocean in. PERFECT for a couple who want to unwind! 30 mins to Waimea Bay and Hale'iwa, which are must visits!

No one can dispute the amazing view! Immediately after booking, we received no communication from the owner till the night before check-in. In other VRBO rentals, we’ve received information a few days to a week before arrival, which settles some nerves when traveling long distances for a rental. With that said, check-in was simple, and the instructions were clear. Zero problems, however we did notice a few things had changed in the living area compared to the posted photos, such as the layout of the living room, furniture pictured, and the wall of windows became a slider. Strangely, what I’m sure was meant as upgrades felt like downgrades to us. We were a little surprised by the changes and how they make the space feel claustrophobic. The space in the bedroom is quite tight; there is a portable A/C unit in the room now which we didn’t use because there was a strong wind blowing while we were in town. The two primary concerns was the lack of a single smoke detector – all of them had been removed. We had distinct concern that the electric could be easily overloaded as there were very few outlets. One wasn’t even attached to the wall. Definitely a hazard if you brought a child. There was no fire extinguisher, which was a concern given the electric and the fact that there is another VRBO downstairs. We noticed that under the bed were dozens of packages of tiles and they were covered in spider webs, the extra deep window sills were dusty and very worn looking. There were sugar ants all around the kitchen sink. Mold was growing on various soft surfaces, the bedding was very musty smelling and would have been unusable if we hadn’t been able to sleep with the slider door open and had a strong breeze. Due to these concerns, despite the absolutely magnificent view, we did decide to leave after the first night and stay at another location on the north shore that was a similar cost, paying for two locations for two nights. I immediately messaged the owner through the VRBO app. The next day, after not hearing back, I sent a text to make sure they were aware we left. Three weeks later, I have never heard from the owner. I was refunded my deposit, but nothing for the 2 nights. Of course, the cancellation policy states no refunds less than 60 days out so I wasn't surprised, but had been hopeful. A note about the area. The next town over is basically owned by BYU-be aware it is a dry town, that closes on Sunday. Even the beach! BYOB

You can’t bear the view and hearing the waves hitting the rocks.

It has an ideal location if you want sunrises and easy access to Laie and beyond. The kitchen layout is very strange. Hot plate, sink and dishes on one side of the house, kitchen table, coffee bar, fridge and utensils on the opposite side. It's not immaculate by any stretch but certainly manageable and the hosts are great.

Love this apartment! Came here to get away and have some peace and quiet and this I exactly what I got. View is amazing, food trucks and grocery stores within 5-10 minute drive. Anastasia was very responsive when I had questions and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an excellent time at this place. The view of the ocean from the deck was absolutely stunning. The owners were very helpful and even gave us suggestions for things to do. Will be happy to rent this property again.

This is a terrific place to stay if you don't want the bustle of Honolulu.

The place was awesome being right on the water. The deck is exactly what we wanted. No real beach but viewing the waves and sunrise was enough for us. Kitchen layout is pretty funky so I wouldn’t plan on doing much cooking but everything was perfect. No complaints. The area is quite sleepy, I wouldn’t plan on doing much nightlife activities without driving up to sunset beach area which was very easy. Stacy is awesome and this place fit nicely for what we’re looking for. Thanks Stacy.

We celebrated our 40th anniversary and enjoyed staying here. We had excellent recommendations from our host on places to eat, beaches and hikes in the area. It was such a wonderful place to just relax. And the sunrises were spectacular on our balcony! The only thing lacking was there was only one washcloth and no kitchen towels. Other that that, it was wonderful! Thank you very much

nice view, especially for sun rise. The apartment is nice but do not have proper kitchen. So it is a little hard for cooking. And the bed is a queen size bed, very shaking, so my husband sleep on the coach for 4 days. Besides that, the apartment is nice.

Easy owners to work with!

This place was perfect for my wife and I to relax and enjoy the beauty of that part of the island. The few local food places just down the street like papa oles and Ken's fish were incredible.

We will be raving about this beautiful home for years. We barely wanted to leave, listening to the waves and feeling those trade winds were absolutely heavenly. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was a lovely way to start the day. Food trucks and grocery store are just a few minutes away. You can get to the North Shore in about 15 mins, and then return to your quiet oasis for R&R. The chairs on the balcony need replaced, but the owner is aware. Everything else was in good working order. The fridge is indeed full size, despite what the picture shows. One of the things i really loved was all of the storage - you do not have to live out of a suitcase. Mahalo Stacie & Michael!

Wonderful place right on the Ocean. Stayed for 3 nights before heading to Honolulu for a conference. Some of the decor and upkeep is a bit dated and worn, but this is clear from the provided photographs so you should know what you are getting. Loved the secluded location, and it was great to have snorkel equipment provided so we did not have to rent.

My wife and I debated between staying at the Marriott or staying at this property. As you can see in the photos, this is an older home and we knew it would not have the newness or the amenities of the Marriott. However, we chose this property and will be forever grateful for our decision. Even though you can see how close the ocean is in the pictures they provide, it is even more amazing when you experience sitting on their deck! Waking every morning to an incredible sunrise and going to bed hearing the ocean waves creates such an amazing, relaxing vacation. It is a great place to heal from the realities of everyday life. There is no beach directly in front of this property but we walked about six houses down and accessed a really cool little beach where we could walk everyday. If you go, please visit the Polynesian Cultural Center as it is so worth the price. Great food at Giovanni's Food Truck where they serve incredible shrimp. Near this food truck is Ono Yo, a high quality and very fresh yogurt shop. Don't forget to eat at Kahuku Farms which is another great choice! The owners are just great people and responded to any question in a timely manner. Michael and Stacie care about their guests! We would not hesitate to stay there again and again!!!

The owners are super sweet and helpful! The AC was broken during our stay but with the ocean breeze and ceiling fans it wasn’t bad. Not to mention the sound of the ocean was super calming!

Property is in a great location, many great beaches and attractions close by. Unit was clean and very comfortable. Sunrises from the deck are amazing. If you are looking for a relaxing, nice place to stay this is it!
