Everything!!! It is so homely and inviting, clean and tidy, with lovely little touches that make it really special. The garden was a peaceful haven, the log fire all ready to go, milk in the fridge, beautiful free range eggs, I could go on and on…..!!!!

Everything was perfect. The fact that we had our own mini shop was fantastic. Location was great, very quiet, facilities faultless. We ended up staying an extra night, that's how lovely it was.

This was a wonderful semi rural location, the home had all the amenities we needed and was also spacious. Matt and Cherie gave us a warm welcome and supplied milk , coffee tea etc. We had a very relaxing time and were in fairly close proximity to the city center. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden and going for walks as well as visiting the local art galleries and taking a trip on the river cruise.

Nice quiet little house. Loved the small touches like mini bar and soaps/shampoo. Owners popped by to say hi and gave us some great ideas for activities to do

A lovely place to stay. Well equipped for our Christmas stay. Friendly hosts came by to see we were settled in ok.

The sound on the TV was a bit dodgy and may need looking at. (Although we didn't do much TV watching).

It was just like walking in to our own home.very neat,tidy & clean.we had everything we required. Attention to detail was excellent.location was very peaceful with the back garden facing a wild reserve like area.we were able to see a few deers as well.

I liked everything,much more comfortable than a motel room.,especially for my kids,very home like I recently lost my nana(just last week actually)and this cozy bach reminded me of her,the ,the gardens are beautiful,its honestly like a home away from home

Stayed for an enjoyable week long winter break. Lots of wood for the fire which kept us cozy despite the polar chill outside. Quiet, convenient and comfortable - just like a bach should be. Excellent free WiFi as well!

Cozy Bach was just that - wonderfully cozy!! Everything you needed was provided - loved the shoe horn, gumboots and umbrellas just at the front door. The kitchen was well stocked - Matt and Cherie have provided and catered for everything you might need. Snacks and drinks available at reasonable prices. The beds were comfy and warm and the fire warmed the whole house. The back yard is private and a lovely place to soak up the winter sun. Netflix is available and was welcome when we just wanted to chill. If we are ever back in Wanganui there is only one place we will stay and that's the Cozy Bach.

The property was lovely. Manicured lawns, beautiful gardens, outdoor activities in the backyard ( Horseshoes and Swing ball ). The log burner was awesome and kept you more than cozy on a winters night and the main bed was very comfortable and large. As a couple we didn't need to use the other beds but they all looked comfy and the additional bedroom was large enough to accommodate two other adults if needed. The shower had plenty of pressure to satisfy most if not all. The fully equipped kitchen was as you would expect for a Batch/house, like being in your own home kitchen, and the nibbles and other items for sale were a pleasant bonus. Proximity to Whanganui City (10 minutes by car) and other areas is a bonus yet the serenity of the property is a huge plus. So quiet and peaceful both day and night with bird life on the doorstep. The hosts make everything simple and easy from check in to check out. There is a washing machine, an excellent smart TV for those relaxing wind down moments and a super comfy lounge. The towels, flannels and bathroom bits and bobs (hair shampoo, soap and a razor set plus slippers) were straight out of a 3+ star hotel setting, unexpected and awesome.

A few hooks in the bathroom would be helpful, along with a hanger in the smaller bedroom (which lacks a wardrobe).
