The room was older, so larger than newer hotels.

The location was far and the taxi ride from the train station was expensive. Once we checked in the hotel gave us a contact with a local taxi company that was much cheaper. Would have been nice to have that information ahead of time.

the location was easy. lovely and quite and felt safe. it looked clean. the staff were so lovely and helpful, it really makes the stay so much more pleasurable. I was so in awe of how accommodating they were, that I might make this my regular spot to stay when I come to Edinburgh. my mum who wears a hijab, did not feel at all uncomfortable and was treated with the utmost respect. which in today’s climate is very rare and difficult.

the shower, wasn’t a fan. having small children, it was really difficult to shower them. I know you may say bath them, but I cannot justify or even be bothered filling the tub. otherwise, clean and spacious. only other qualm was the beds did not get made when new towels were dropped off. it’s lovely to have a fresh bed every time you return to the room. the service was fantastic, however, it would be great if there was a phone in the room to contact reception, as someone whose phone is constant dead it would be great. or even on the floor corridor.

No way is this establishment worth £140 a night without breakfast Also getting very tired and in need of some refurbishment

Bathroom light bulbs not replaced. Bath plug broken. Toilet cistern permanently running. No water glasses. No tea bags on day 2.

The location is excellent to nearby Livingston outlet malls. The rooms are located in a separate block from the adjacent Marston chainrunner inn . They are accessed by keycard entry and are spacious and very clean and comfortable and tea and coffee is included. For those wanting more a Starbucks is opposite. The food in the inn is excellent and we cannot speak highly enough of the staff who are very welcoming and make the stay enjoyable.
