The property was located close to the walled city, which was our reason for choosing it. I loved the upper story, open air but roofed deck, which offered fresh air, views and was protected from the elements. The rooms were clean and large, and the kitchen was well equipped. We also used the laundry facilities, which were effective and handy. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Carcassonne.

The location was ideal for a trip without transport - a short walk from both the Cité and the Bastide. There were also restaurants and small grocer's shops even nearer. The owners were friendly and easy to contact.
The window shutters on the ground floor could only be opened a few inches (for security), which meant very little natural light, so some brighter lights would be useful, especially in the winter months.

Location was great. Lovely roof terrace. The house had everything we needed for our few days in Carcassonne.
There was definitely a technique for locking and unlocking the front door!

The proximity to Le Cite and the great restaurants and that the property was well equipped including the fans for the heat we had. The bathrooms were lovely and beds very comfortable.
It needed more lights for reading and the staircase to the lovely roof terrace may be harder for older people or people with mobility issues.

Location, lots of space, quiet, facilities, book shelf.
It’s hard to complain generally but I’d say the sofa could do with replacement.

Nice and cosy townhouse, well equipped. Very good location in the old part of the city, close to the castle.

Location to La Cité medieval city. Short walk to lots of restaurants in Rue Trivalle and a couple of small shops selling groceries wine, fresh bread etc

Beautiful apartment close to everything in Carcassonne. Free parking readily available just around the corner.

As soon as I made the booking the communication with Jason was great. He very kindly picked us up from the airport and took us back on our day of departure. The house was lovely with everything you needed and in an excellent location, 5 min walk to the Cité and 10/15 mins to the town centre, a bit longer to the train station. The kitchen was well equipped and there were dvds and plenty of books to read. Both double rooms were comfortable and the terrace was lovely. We only used it briefly due to the time of year but it would be great on a spring or summer morning for breakfast or afternoon drinks. We didn’t need to contact Jason for anything during the time we were there but I felt confident he would answer straight away if we had needed him. I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting the area.
