Loved the style and space. Great rotating fireplace. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linen felt great.

I think I would have used high quality towels to match the rest of the place and a few more quality toiletries. It was odd to have small half full bottles of random shampoo and conditioner but hey ...maybe it's an eco choice so makes sense not to ditch them! We would definitely stay there again.

lack of connectivity. we forgot to bring our blue tooth speaker. with a place of this quality a blue tooth speaker would be a great inclusion. iPod docks provided are obsolete.

Loved the design and layout of the property ... the visual appeal was immediate but the longer lasting impression was of a quality product. Extremely Comfy Bed! And the best shower in Hobart!!! Great kitchen and plenty of cooking implements. I was a little worried about the only form of heating being a woodstove but boy, did it prove me wrong ... easy to light and it made the Big Shed super cosy. And this during a cold wintery patch of weather. The interior design is really something to enjoy ... quite unique ... and the loo is like an exhibit out of MONA! The fabulous outdoor deck (not used by me much because of the weather) would be a delight in more settled weather. The town of Huonville is a really great place to wander around and only a couple of minutes away. And then of course you have all sorts of attractions nearby. A perfect songwriting retreat!

What didn't I like? Not being able to stay longer but on the super niggly side it was surprising that there wasn't any black tea (but there is heaps of herbal) or sugar ... discovered that on my first morning when I was planning to have a leisurely cuppa in bed but it gave me good reason to get out of bed and visit the local supermarket (not far away) as well as go for an early morning walk along the banks of the mighty Huon river.
