Location. And it was on the beach. Staff. Very nice pool and beachfront.

Old, unkempt and not maintained, very poor value for money; not cheap. We felt cheated for the price we paid. Broken and dirty room amenities. No towels or water in the room when we checked in. The geyser never worked. AC barely worked.

DO NOT STAY THERE. RUDE STAFF. ROOM IN UNFIT CONDITIONS, NON WORKING AC AND SHOWERS, DIRTY LINEN. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay at Coral Beach. I booked a one-bedroom cottage with a sea view, but upon arrival, I was informed that my reservation could not be found because the hotel's internet was down for the day. I was then given a hotel room instead. The room did not have any towels, so I had to walk back to the reception to get them (c.20 min wait). No hot water shower either. The next day, I was shown to a one-bedroom cottage. However, the cottage was not as advertised. There was no sea view, and the room was very dark because the window was at the top of the wall. The kitchen was also in poor condition, with a rusty sink and a dead cockroaches in the fridge. The utensils in the kitchen were also dirty and covered in dust and cobwebs. In addition, the air conditioning in the cottage did not work. I asked for a standing fan, but I was told that they would send a technician to fix the air conditioning unit. The technician arrived 30 minutes later, he said that he needed to get some additional parts and could I wait. I was then left waiting in the room for several hours while the technicians worked on the air conditioning unit, therefore wasting 4 hours of the afternoon. During this time, I asked to speak to the manager on several occasions, but I was told that the manager was not available. On the third day of my stay, I was finally given a room that was up to expected standards. However, the shower was a fine trickle, and the pillows were mouldy, sheets stained. I asked for new pillows and sheets, but I was only given new pillow cases. I also found the previous guest's toenail clippings on the floor of the room and unwashed cups and cutlery by the kettle. I was very frustrated with the service at Coral Beach Resort.

The facility is run down, access to the beach could be better, the breakfast was below average other than the fresh juice, the cups, plates and cutlery seem very old. I didn't dare take meals after a warning from another guest

It was well maintained and the staff was very helpful and friendly. wifi was good and we had hot showers. Also, the food was delicious and very affordable compared to other restaurants in the area. The landscaping is very nice as well. Great value for money!

During this period of time there was a lot of seaweed on the beach. Hence we had to go to another beach to swim in the ocean. However, this took less than 10 minutes and was not too big of a deal.
