Posizione tranquilla non troppo lontana dal centro, personale e proprietaria cortesi e disponibili, ambiente curato e pulito

Stanza un pò troppo piccola e poco illuminata, materasso a molle non comodissimo. Avrei gradito più scelta a colazione.

It was clean and breakfast was good. The museum was nice, but don’t expect to see any real Hemingway artefacts or the actual building where he stayed or garden.

The pictures on booking.com do not reflect the reality of the place. The photos are cleverly taken to make it look like it’s in Ca’Erizzo with the garden outside. While it’s true that the B&B is located behind Ca’ Erizzo, it’s actually a separate narrow three storey terraced house with a courtyard at the end of the street behind the main building. Parking is on main street outside not within courtyard. The ‘deluxe’ rooms are minuscule and the ‘garden view’ is a stone wall outside the window. We were in one of the top floor rooms which has a sloping roof so this made the space even smaller for my husband who is quite tall (and this was not mentioned in the description). When we asked the following day if we could pay to move to a larger room, the staff member said no as she said all the rooms were the same and all booked - although that night we were the only ones in the building! And there is the larger room which is on the top floor overlooking the street and river. The staff member who welcomed us was polite, but it felt quite impersonal and she couldn’t wait to get away from us once she showed us to our minuscule room with a view of a stone wall!! The safe and Wi-Fi didn’t work. There are pictures of bicycles in the booking.com page, but they were covered in plastic and as there was no-one around to ask, we didn’t use them. It is in a pretty location on the river, but actually 20 minutes walk into the centre of Bassano and not 10 as we were told - and we are fast walkers! We were quite deflated by the whole experience.

Die Unterkunft liegt 15 Gehminuten außerhalb von Bassano del Grappa. Sie bietet schön ausgestattete Zimmer. Zum Haus gehört ein Innenhof, in dem man auch das Frühstück einnehmen kann. Zudem kann man Fahrräder leihen, wem der Weg in die Altstadt zu Fuß zu weit ist. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Brenta so dass man auch einen schönen Spazierweg direkt vor dem Haus hat. Das Frühstück war sehr gut!

Es gab nichts auszusetzen.

Very nice location by the river at a quite neighborhood. Historical center at walking distance. Very nice-cozy room with nice furniture and super clean. Polite and helpful hostess. Even though we arrived later than expected, we contacted the hostess and easily accessed the property following her instructions over the phone. Nice courtyard. Decent breakfast.

Beautiful and comfy room with small tea and coffee maker available in the room. Decorated with style and an Hemingway feel throughout. Little patio available for customers where you can take your breakfast in the morning. Great continental breakfast with plenty of sweet and savoury options. Very nice staff. Very quite area of the city, along the river and near lovely walk along the river. Bikes are available to customers. Although I didn't have a car there is parking space available on street. Just adjacent to the Hemingway and Natural history museum which I believe the accommodation is part of. I did not visit the museum but complementary tickets were given in the room and buildings look fabulous. About 15 min walk from the centre of town.

Not much I have dislike, this is a great B&B property in a really calm, beautiful and relaxing setting. Maybe to be aware is the fact the location is more of a residential area with only little options nearby for dining.

The place is nice and quiet over the river Brenta, a little out of town and looks newly done inside, but I only spent the night there, without even having the breakfast, so can't say too much.

If you arrive late, you better stick to your stated arrival time. They're fine, though ; )

I thought that the breakfast was of average selection of offerings. The staff was very nice! The accommodations were adequate.

We liked the room, beds, and bathroom, historical building, lovely decor and quality furnishings, comfortable and all very clean. Fresh flowers a nice touch and facility to make a drink if you need. Very peaceful location a short walk (15 minutes) away from the busy centre and next to the river. Nice fresh breakfast. Pleasant, helpful and unobtrusive hostess. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excelent location in a quiet area by the Brenta River, 10-15 min walk from the city center. Breakfast with good variety of options. Bikes available free of charge.

Nice Room on the top floor with a beautiful view on the river. Quiet area a little outside the centre. We enjoyed that a lot, because you still reach the city centre by a nice 15 minutes walk. Breakfast was alright!

The pillows could have been a little softer, but that might be just my personal preference.
